Heroes Among Us
Welcome to the first episode of "A Catholic Journey". Today, we feature stories from veterans and family members of American Legion Post 99 in Kearny, NJ. On Memorial Day, May 25, 2020, they planted American flags at the graves of veterans at Holy Cross Cemetery in North Arlington New Jersey. They also spoke of their life experiences, Memorial Day, faith, and more. As the country celebrates July 4th and the 75th anniversary of the United States and Allies victory during WWII, their stories offer much needed insights and wisdom. Subscribe to this podcast to receive alerts of future episodes including, Life and Resurrection Through COVID19, Hospice Care, End of Life Wishes, Interment vs Cremation, and more. If you have any podcast suggestions, please send them to Max Almenas, Marketing Manager at Catholic Cemeteries of the Archdiocese of Newark: maxim.almenas@rcan.org. Thank you for listening, and God bless.
