Megan came and shared her experience with Steps 6 & 7 with us and boy was it an eye opener for me lol. The message I got was Awareness, Acceptance, and Action. Her sobriety date is 9/14/82 and her homegroup is the As Women See It Group that meets in Wallingford on Saturday and Sunday mornings.
Kathy D. - If There is Breath There is Hope
Kathy told us her story of finding a spark in the darkness. She is such a shining example of how this program works and how you can have serenity no matter what you are going through. Kathy D's sobriety date is 5/1/2020 and her homegroup is the Midday Miracles at the Bristol Recovery Club. Ali G came and spoke with us about her experience with Steps 4 & 5. Ali's sobriety date is 4/23/2013 and her home group is the As Women See It group that meets in Wallingford on Saturday and Sunday mornings.
Paul S. - Step 3 - Finding God in Prison
Paul S. came to chat with us about his experience with Step 3 and wow it was such a great time. Paul has an amazing story and it was a gift to get to sit and hear it. Paul's sobriety date is 12/15/2014 and his homegroup is the Waterbury Men's Meeting that meets on Wednesdays.

Mary N joined us to share her experience with Step 2. Mary's sobriety date is 5/25/2000 and her home group is the As Women See It group that meets in Wallingford on Saturday mornings at 9am.
Melissa T - Step 1
We are starting a new series on the steps! Melissa T joined us to share about her experience with Step 1. Her sobriety date is June 19, 1983 and her homegroup is the Hamden Early Risers Meeting that meets Sunday mornings at 7:30am.
Claire M - Learning to Pivot
Our American friend Claire is also from the West Coast and now resides in Connecticut. We talked about turning over your willpower and finding that strength in your HP. Claire's sobriety date is 1/6/2017 and her home group is the As Women See It group that meets in Wallingford on Saturday and Sunday mornings.
