Sims and Josh return for the eighth and final episode of My Life as a Celebrity Look-a-Like. After initially declining the role, Sims explains the specifics around being courted to co-star in The 41-Year Old Virgin Who Knocked Up Sarah Marshall and Felt Superbad About It. To help paint the picture of life filming a parody, Austin Scott (Disaster Movie, iCarly) who starred along with Sims as the infamous character "McAnalovin'" joins the episode. Throughout the episode, the crew will chat about Sims and Austin's very different casting experiences, how to get to set without a car, and most importantly - what happens when the sun sets on being a celebrity look-alike.

Sims and Josh return for the seventh and penultimate episode of My Life as a Celebrity Look-a-like to tackle the fallout of his stand-in career and the happenings of 2009. After his time on the set of Funny People, Sims begins to find footing in his personal life while still being mistaken on the street for his famous doppelganger by the paparazzi. Sims has turned the page in his life and is adamant to work in sketch comedy, but a fortuitous Facebook message from a well-known actor puts him right back in the Jonah Hill spotlight.

Episode 6 – Two SAG Vouchers

Sims and Josh return for the sixth episode of My Life as a Celebrity Look-a-like to discuss the first days on the set of Funny People. Sims recounts being surrounded by his heroes; Adam Sandler, Judd Apatow, and Seth Rogen – and how craft services ended up being the true star of this production. From the shadow of the tamale truck, Sims emerges to take Hollywood by storm and share the spotlight with his look-alike Jonah Hill, but after the second day of filming the only storm happening is a flood of emotions when he is let go via email. To finally get answers about his firing Josh and Sims bring on actor Errik Tustenuggee (Prodigal Son, Star Trek) who shares details about Sims' replacement and provides a revelation about his work on the film that completely stuns them.

Josh has a chance to interrogate Sims about his arrival to the set of Funny People, and those first interactions with Adam Sandler and Judd Apatow.

The four of them break down the events leading to the creation of the film and discover an actor from the short who has since caught their big break. Meanwhile, Jonah Hill sends Sims a Facebook message at 2:51 am.

Episode 1 – Thirteen Years Later

Producer and actor Steven Sims reconnects with his college friend and award-winning podcaster, Josh Larkin, to tell the behind the scene stories of moving to Los Angeles and finding work as an actor – only to find out you're a dead ringer for somebody who just caught their big break. Throughout the season Sims and Josh will reconnect as they invite on the friends, collaborators, and actors who lived these stories alongside Steve during his Jonah Hill era starting in 2007. In this episode, Sims and Josh finally sit down to reconnect after thirteen years of an online-only friendship. Later the two will discuss the expectations versus the reality of moving to Los Angeles and bring on Hollywood actress Alison Trumbull (NCIS, Jane the Virgin) to share her experiences in LA, initially meeting Sims, and what it's like to audition during a global pandemic.
