To fully understand grace, we need to consider who we were without Christ and who we become with Christ. We were born in sin, and we were guilty of breaking God’s holy laws. But then came grace. God extended His favour to us. Grace is what saves us.

Grace is a constant theme in the Bible, and it culminates in the New Testament with the coming of Jesus. The word translated "grace" in the New Testament comes from the Greek word “charis”, which means “favour, blessing, or kindness.” We can all extend grace to others; but when the word grace is used in connection with God, it takes on a more powerful meaning.

For many people, especially those in the church, and more so us in Africa, depression is a foreign concept – a condition that very few are willing to accept. I think it’s only recently that mental health has started to become a recognized issue. But the reality is; some of the heroes of the faith got depressed. Depression seems to be something that we all go through.

We need to master our uncontrolled and misdirected anger. That's what it means to have self-mastery. When you master yourself, you can be controlled by no one. You can set your own destiny. You can make choices to count.

Fear is one of the things that you must master if you’re to fulfill your God-intended destiny. Without mastering fear, you will always fall short and cut a frustrated and defeated figure.

Many of us have dreams and visions and hopes for the future, but we will not achieve those dreams and we will not be able to master those domains and those dominions that God has given us unless there's self-mastery. We need to master certain aspects of our life - things that we must bring under control if we are going to accomplish our God-given purpose.

The problem is not actually the money itself, but the spirit that is behind it!

Most believers do not consider themselves to be worshippers of money. They claim to be worshippers of God, but the truth is, sometimes the spirit of mammon is controlling us. And that’s a dangerous place to be because Mammon is a spirit that resists the Spirit of God. 

"Yahweh Yireh," meaning "The Lord Will Provide," encapsulates God's role as the faithful provider, assuring believers that He cares for their every need.

The names of God, "El Shaddai," "El Elyon," and "Yahweh Nissi" stand as pillars of strength and guidance for believers when faced with life's battles. Each name encapsulates profound meanings that resonate deeply within the hearts of those who seek solace, protection, and victory in their faith journey.

The name "Abba" is a profound and intimate expression of the relationship between believers and their heavenly Father. Just as a loving earthly father provides protection, guidance, and unwavering love to his children, the name "Abba" portrays God's nurturing character as a compassionate and caring Father.

The Bible uses different names of God to convey specific, personal meaning and identity. There's great power in a name. It says who we are, it's what we are known by to all those around us. And there's nothing so powerful as the name of our Lord God. The Bible says the name of the Lord is like a strong tower; the righteous can run to it and be saved.

Divine healing is a provision of the cross of Calvary in the same way that forgiveness of sin is. When we appropriate what Jesus did for us on the Cross, we are able to walk free from sin.

Healing is the most powerful weapon that God has placed in the arsenal of the Church, and He has given us a mandate to bring healing to the nations. God has always been eager to bring healing to His people – wholeness to their bodies and health to their souls.

Speaking with tongues is the initial supernatural sign or evidence of the Holy Spirit’s indwelling.  It is the beginning of it all.  The more you pray and worship in tongues, the more manifestation of other gifts of the Spirit you have.  Speaking with tongues is the door into the rest of the spiritual gifts.

Without the Holy Spirit we could never live in the power of God or know God's strength in our daily lives. For full enjoyment and fulfilment in our human existence we need this great gift of the Holy Spirit from God our Father.

Joseph’s life is filled with so much untold suffering, anguish, and sadness. But it’s also a story of perseverance, faithfulness, forgiveness and triumph in the face of adversity.

His name means laughter, which is derived from the reaction of his mother when she heard that she would have a child in her old age. Isaac’s life may not be as exciting and powerful as his father’s, but we can see that God uses him to confirm his promises to Abraham.

From God’s promise that he would be a father of many nations to his willingness to sacrifice Isaac his son in obedience to God, Abraham’s life is a testament to the power of faith, trust, obedience, and perseverance in the face of challenges and adversity.

The fulfilment of a purpose will go through seasons. The only thing that is “till death do us part” is marriage. Everything else is seasonal. You need to know the times and the seasons for your life.

When God created man, His original intent was for us to rule, to reign, to govern, and to have dominion. That is the overarching purpose of man.
