Previous credits include Antigone, Nell Gwyn (PLAYHOUSE CREATURES), and Veranda (CROSSING THE BAY). She hopes to one day work full time as an actor and teacher, but for now she is thankful for the opportunities to continue to develop her skills and push herself further in storytelling and character creation. Kaylie was recently featured in GBP’s Spooky One-Acts as Victoria and Unnamed. In her spare time, Kaylie enjoys video games, TTRPG campaigns, and spamming the group chat with memes. Most recently Madison started a Bachelor Podcast called The Bach League Three that she produces, edits, and hosts with other members of GBP. Madison is a local actor, producer, and playwright who is proud to call Buffalo her home. Her play, Keep a Little Soul was produced Off-Off Broadway at the New Thrills One Act Festival In the summer of 2019 and continues to be produced around the country. She is so happy to give new playwrights the opportunity to see their works come to life.

Leyla Gentil is a graduate from SUNY Purchase with a double major in Theatre & Performance and Arts Management. She has been passionate about theatre since her very first performance in La Tosca when she was 10 years old. Since then, she has acted, directed, written, stage managed and produced for the stage. Leyla is passionate about the power of theatre and its ability to make an impact on others.

9 Rodgers and Hammerstein's Cinderella (With Renee Scherer)
This week, we talk with Renee Scherer, who has been waiting in her own little corner since 1985 to talk about Rodgers and Hammerstein’s Cinderella! Zack, Ellen, and Renee talk about the following three films:
Rodgers and Hammerstein’s Cinderella (1957, 1965, 1997)
Renee Scherer is a vocal music teacher based in Adams, NY. She has taught students grades K-12 for 32 years at Belleville Henderson Central School (BHCS). Renee holds a Bachelor of Arts in Music Education from SUNY Fredonia (Class of 1989) as well as a Master of Arts from SUNY Oswego (Class of 1994). She developed BHCS’s musical theater program early in her career, mounting over 20 productions including the musical she starred in as a high school senior, Rodgers and Hammerstein’s Cinderella. Most recently, she directed Junie B. Jones, The Musical and streamed the show live to keep students and community members safe during the pandemic. Renee has been married to her husband, Brian for 33 years, and has 3 daughters, Ellen, Elizabeth, and Angela. She hopes to retire within the next year and looks forward to being involved in some community theater in her retirement.
