Dr. Cynthia Castro Sweet, the Senior Director of Clinical Research at Modern Health, discusses digital health innovations and products in the private sector. Dr. Cynthia Castro Sweet is a Clinical Psychologist and leads the Research team at Modern Health. She has a PhD in Clinical Psychology with a specialization in Behavioral Medicine from the UCSD/SDSUJoint Doctoral Program. She has worked as an applied behavioral medicine researcher in academia at the Stanford Prevention Research Center, and in the private industry at Omada Health and Modern Health. She designs and executes studies of various designs and sizes to generate evidence of the clinical and economic value of technology-enabled healthcare programs. Her central role is to create and execute a strategic roadmap of high quality clinical research that showcases Modern Health as the best-in-class leader in digital mental health solutions.

Dr. Nathaan Demers, the Vice President of Clinical Programs & Strategic Partnerships at Grit Digital Health, discusses how to meet the mental well-being needs of college students as they navigate their lives and college stressors through a well-rounded digital health and well-being app, YOU at College. Dr. Demers talks about the research behind developing a well-being app geared toward accessibility for college students, ensuring that YOU at College is directly helpful to them. Although technology will never replace the human touch, digital health practices allow students to get better access to available resources around them.
