Cephalon Squared is a regular podcast about Warframe. Join your Cephalons Greg & Lucas every week as they discuss recent news and announcements, and provide tips and tricks for new and old players alike.
Another quiet week in the world of Warframe... This week, Cephalon's Greg and Lucas decided to have a chat about the current status of the game - what's missing from Warframe in 2020?
Beginner topic: Defeating the first four Planetary bosses.
Advanced topic: Conservation
The team is well and truly back for 2020 - not only has there been a bunch of hotfixes released for PC, but the team got together for the first Devstream of 2020, followed by a 3-hour celebration! It was quite a time (that we were unable to watch in full), but of course we have an overview of the Devstream for you!
Wisp - the ethereal ghost. With Abilities like this, who needs friends? Wisp arrived with The Jovian Concord update and very quickly asserted herself as one of the best frames in the entire game. If you don't have her yet, you should probably look to fix that. Listen in to find out why.
We hit 100 reviews on iTunes and other platforms, so as promised, we have our second live Streamcast! This one was streamed live on Twitch, so please forgive any strange edits (I tried to cut out any references that required video) or sounds! This was an Ask Us Anything stream, so we had fun with viewer questions, and we were joined by one of our Moderators - the illustrious Doug. Have a listen - it was an absolute blast.
Thus was supposed to be a mini podcast, but as you can see, it didn't turn out that mini. But it's well worthwhile!
In December, we ran a survey of members of the Cephalon Squared community, and in this first mini of 2020, we decided to go over that feedback, and share it with you, the listener. So if you'd like to hear what other members of the community had to tell us, as well as our responses to this feedback, have a listen! You might be surprised by some of the changes we have in store.
Thanks for your support to date - here's to 2020 and beyond!
Given it's the first week of the new year, I'm surprised there was any news at all. Come to think of it... there wasn't really super newsworthy, but there was an announcement or two. Given the quiet time of the year, and our overview of the year's content last week, we decided to provide DE with some constructive criticism this week - a little feedback for how we think the game could be improved.
In addition, we also provide a Beginner and Advanced topic roundup, which we do every 25 episodes or so!
It's... oh... so... quiet! Christmas has come and gone, but 2020 looms upon us larger than ever, and so it was a quiet week in the world of Warframe.
But that doesn't mean the Cephalons get nothing done - hell no! This week, we take a good look at all the content that was released this year, and present our overall thoughts regarding 2019. In addition, we continue our Railjack tips, with both our Beginner and Advanced topics once again touching on aspects of this major new expansion.
With the end of the year looming, Digital Extremes took to the iknterwebs for one last Devstream to close out the year. Devstream was light on any major news, but heavy on acknowledging player feedback. This Devstream was mainly a deep dive into Empyrean and what ti took to get the new expansion released onto (almost) every platform prior to Christmas.
With the team now on holidays, expect a quiet couple of weeks, but we'll stil be here talking all things Warframe!
Vauban - the great engineer. The mighty tactician. He had some trouble with popularity for a while there, but a rework in The Old Blod update saw his toolkit evolve into something that better suited the modern game.
Do we recommend you try out the new Vauban? I guess you'll have to listen to find out!
Wow... what a week! There was plenty of news dropped, as you would expect in the run-up to Christmas, but Digital Extremes took it all one step further and surprised us all by dropping Empyrean on PC during their announcement at The Game Awards! Plus, they dropped Rising Tide on consoles as well!
Thus, this week's episode is all about Empyrean - the good, the bad, the ugly. We've played it A LOT, so we have lots to say, including beginner and advanced topics all about Empyrean. We hope you're as excited as we are.
Titania, the Queen of the Fairies. An aptly named frame with the ability to turn herself into a tiny fairy, and fly about environments causing death and destruction, as all good fairies should.
Not only this, but Titania's other Abilities are equally special, allowing her to provide buffs and debuffs, as well as some really effective Crowd Control.
While pretty niche in terms of playtime, there's something here for everyone, provided you put in the effort to learn her Abilities in depth.
It's getting very close to the end of the year, so DE has pulled out all stops for Empyrean, showing off a lengthy demo in Devstream 134. Is it worth watching? You bet your dirty bum, it is.
As a result, this episode involves the Cephalons discussing everything they saw in the demo in detail, and basically fawning over what is essentially Warframe 2.0. And better than that? DE indicated it's likely to hit PC prior to Xmas. Good times indeed.
Set the table and prepare for a feast of gargantuan proportions. Yes, here we tackle the mighty warframe Grendel, who just happens to also be mighty hungry. Able to not only consume his opponents but also to use them either as buffs or projectiles, Grendel makes a formidable foe.
And more than that? He can roll into a ball and crush them should they resist.
Grendel is an extremely tanky frame that also provides buffs for himself and teammates alike. He's a good friend to have on your team. Listen in to find out why.
Well, there was no Devstream this week, but we didn't want to leave our listeners wanting more... So we went out and scored an awesome interview! If you missed our interview with Sheryl Mebane (the voice of Nora Night) earlier this year, check it out...
And then follow it up with this one, in which we interview Lucas Schuneman, who voices such fan favourites as Nef Anyo and Tyl Regor, and a lot more besides Warframe! This interview was a lot of fun, and we encourage you to actively seek out his work.
No, it's not deja vu, and yes - we have covered Ember before. However, with the rework that was delivered alongside Update 26, we simply had to update our Ember coverage. So here it is - is she much better now?
TL:DR: hell(fire) yes. Find out why.
Wow - what a week! First, console players were looking forward to The Old Blood hitting their platform, while the community as a whole was hoping for more information on Empyrean in this week's Devstream.
Not to disappoint the community, DE did one better and dropped the first update for the expansion on PC players!
So this week, we have a LOT to talk about - not only do we need to go over the Devstream itself, but we also need to talk about The Old Blood on console and Rising Tide on PC, among all of the usual banter and topics!
Get excited, Tenno!
SPOILERS! RUN AWAY SCARED IF YOU ARE YET TO FINISH THE MAIN STORYLINE!
Still here? Good.
In this month's Lorecast, we have a good chat about the quest that gives us Titania - it provides some good background on the origin of Warframes, as well as a few other interesting tidbits besides. In addition, Cephalon Lucas goes over the lore that he could track down in regards to the New Loka faction. Definitely worth a listen, but definitely full of spoilers!
Another week goes by in the world of Warframe, and yet again, there was no Devstream... HOWEVER, The Old Blood has gone to certification on all console platforms, so that's a good thing!
It certainly makes me think, though - perhaps DE is delaying the next Devstream because they don't want to jump the gun on the next update before console players have even got their hands on the last one? Kind of feels that way... We can only hope - and with only 6 weeks left in the year, there certainly isn't much time left for DE to deliver on the remaining promises...
In addition, we've got our Beginner topic (the Market) and our Advanced topic (Parazon mods, p1: Hacking mods)!
Volt. Electricboy. He's a pretty damned good choice no matter how far you are into the game (and some may argue that he's the best starter)... Have a listen to find out why perhaps you should give him another shot.
Well, it was a week of PC hotfixes for DE, so there wasn't much news. Thus it was the perfect time to have a chat with one of our strongest and longest supporters - JellyBean1799!
And, of course, we also discuss the week's news and go over our usual beginner (annual holiday events) and advanced (beast companion 60/60 mods) topics.
Valkitty. Psycho Kitty.
These nicknames conjure up images of a ball of fury and talons. And it's not far from the truth - Valkyr is these things and more.
What makes Valkyr such a great DPS/melee frame? Well, for one, she's tanky and two - she can self-heal. However, overall, she can be a bit of a selfish choice, as her abilities don't tend to be TOO helpful to other players. Still, she's just a bunch of fun to use, trust us.
Have a listen to find out why.
The last two weeks, we've talked about it, but now - FINALLY - we got our hands on it.
The Old Blood has been released on PC.
And it's good.
There's a lot in this update - even just the Kuva Liches is a massive update in itself, but there's so much more to talk about. And now that we've had the chance to play around with it all, we can share our opinions of it all. So much to talk about. So much to enjoy. Get in on it!
If you're looking for a healer, you really can't go past Trinity. Sure, there are other healers in Warframe, but none that are as selfless as Trinity - in truth, she doesn't do much damage and she's pretty squishy, but DAMN. She's a top tier healer.
Scratch that - she's top tier SUPPORT.
Listen on to find out why.
We were hoping that Update 26 would hit PC last week, but sadly, it was not to be. However, DE did the next best thing and showed it off to us in a good amount of detail, while also answering questions from the fanbase. In this week's episode, we discuss what was shown off and whether or not we think these are worthwhile changes and additions! (Beginner topic: Getting Eidolon ready; Advanced: Aero Set mods)
Another popular frame this week, and this time around it's the Queen of Toxicity herself, Saryn! Why do so many long-term players love her for late-game content (particularly Elite Sanctuary Onslaught)? Listen to find out!
TL;DL: she's awesome, that's why.
Slow news week... Wait - no it wasn't! There was a Devstream this week, and the first Devstream in a while that was REALLY worth being excited about. Don't miss this one - or if you do, go watch the Devstream.
Then come back and listen to us, because we miss you.
Welcome back for another Lorecast! In this episode, we look at the bittersweet love story that is "Saya's Vigil" as well as the bonkers insane story behind the Orokin Tower in Cetus, and the one that resides within... The Unum... Definitely a cool one - check it out!
It was a kind of quiet week this week in terms of Warframe news, so we decided to have a chat about what can be done to either improve existing game modes, or even some potential new game modes that can be added to liven things up. We've also got details on our new competitions, so definitely check it out to find out more info!
It's a short and sweet episode this week - there's really not a lot that can be said about Rhino that hasn't been said before! Not only that, but he's a pretty straightforward and simplistic frame - which is one of the reasons he may be more overlooked these days.
After about 6 long weeks of waiting, DE has at last been able to sit down to present another Devstream. In Devstream 131, the team mainly took us through what is expected in the next mainline update, which is due later this month. They did touch a little on larger subjects as well if you are after any more info on Empyrean or The New War! But not much...
Still, it was a worthy Devstream, and the next update looks to be pretty good overall, especially as it will come along with a Halloween event! Have a listen to find out the juicy details.
Revenant - the spooky Eidolon frame. His quest is fun and gives some good insight into the background of the Plains of Eidolon, but more importantly, he's a fun frame that is absolutely ideal for both solo and team play. Seriously, you can't go wrong with Revenant - unless you're trying to do the Tridolon...
Have a listen to why you need to have a Revenant in your stable.
We reached out to our community and kicked off something we haven't done for a while - Community Guest Stars! So we have a few guests from our community lined up in the coming weeks. Today, we have xValkyrie93, who brought with him a ripper of a question - how much should devs listen to their fans, and how much should they ignore in favour of making the game THEY want to make? It's a great question, and we have a good old chat... (Beginner topic: Boosters; Advanced topic: Tileset secrets)
Octavia, the musician, the diva... Bardframe. Whatever you'd like to call her, she makes music. And with her sweet, sweet music, your enemies will fall. Quickly.
Seriously, Octavia is pretty amazing, you should get her. But listen to this episode to find out why first.
With half the team still off on vacation following Tokyo Game Show, it was another quiet week. So we've got a nice, stress-free (for the most part) episode for you this week! We are expecting a Devstream next week (or should I say we are hoping for one?), so we decided to give our predictions for what's to come to Warframe for the rest of 2019!
He may be one of the newest warframe's to hit the game (at the time of recording), and - let's be honest - when he was first unveiled, we initially weren't overly impressed by his abilities.
However, Gauss, the running man, is no slouch in the warframe department. In fact, with the right build, he can effectively be immortal. And did we mention he runs fast? Because he runs fast. FAST.
Terrible German accent: Gauss!
With the relative success of the podcast, the Cephalons decided to branch out and play on other platforms - mainly PC and Switch. While they smashed through the content, a member of the CS Discord decided to start out and experience the early game with a different approach in mind.
As a result, we thought it would be a great idea for us all to sit down and have a chat about what we experienced. Thus, we discuss the early game in a fair amount of detail!
News: Renown and Esteem packs are out, Saint of Altra gone to cert, some surprises
Discussion: Revisiting the early game
Beginner Topic: TOP 5 TIPS ACCORDING TO DISCORD
Advanced Topic: Eximus Enemies
Well, the Cephalons have finished the core storyline in previous Lorecasts, so here was really only one other place to go - warframe sidequests!
In this episode, we look at Limbo's origins in The Limbo Theorem, and we also take a slightly closer look at Maroo, with a possible bonus thrown in for good measure.
With all the recent hullabaloo of certain Warframe Partners leaving the program (but let's not forget the many more that are not), we thought we'd look into why this might be the case based on the state of Warframe as it currently stands - but with a look towards the future. In our beginner topic, we look at hacking and ciphers; and in our advanced topic, we provide an intro to Sorties.
Nyx - the PSYCHIC frame! No,she won't be reading your palms and feeding you generic stories about your future, she'll be confusing your enemies and making them fight for you instead of against you... And trust me, these are good things. For this reason, she's both great CC and amazing DPS, making her very much worth your while.
If you've had your head in the sand for the last week or so, you might have missed the news, but popular Warframe Partner iFlynn decided to move away from the game this week. It was big news in the community, and we were lucky enough to have him agree to come on the show for a chat. Check it out - it was a fun discussion.
Beginner topic: gilding; Advanced topic: Strain Set Showcase
Nova, the neutron frame. She does weird stuff with blackholes and antimatter. I don't quite understand how or why, but... you know... video games.
Nova is actually a pretty powerful frame that sadly has been shown up a little by more recent frames. That doesn't mean she's not still useful - in fact, she does have specific uses that the community loves to build towards.
Check out our latest mini, and understand why she's worth adding to your arsenal.
In Episode 57, your Cephalons discuss the recent Devstream 130, in which DE showed off Gauss and Grendel, plus some more info on Railjack, Nightwave, and the Disruption game mode. There's a lot of good info here - don't miss out! (Beginner topic: Pains of Eidolon and Orb Vallis, Advanced Topic: Health Regen)
Nidus. This infested, fleshy, kinda gross-looking frame is also quite simply one of the best. Stop reading this, and listen to why you should be out there farming for Nidus (or better yet,it would be quicker to farm the plat to buy him).
In this episode, we cover a few recent listener questions and suggestions, focusing mainly on the suggestin that DE should consider bringing back old events - at least so that thos that missed them can experience the lore. And CephalonLucas has a great idea (if only it didn't reauire so much work to implement)!
Our beginner topic looks at the Disruption game mode, and the advanced topic has a look at more advanced melee techniques - slam attacks and blocking.
We tried something really different in this Lorecast... While we still cover the lore contained within the game, we also take a slight dive into some of the real-world mythology behind the naming conventions. In this case, we look at the Fomorian, and the Balor Fomorian, which come from Irish pre-Christian Mythology. It's really interesting stuff. Let us know your thoughts via the usual channels.
DE dropped the Dog Days Tactical Alert on us this weekend and it's... different! In some ways, quite good, in others... not so much. The Cephalons have a god old chat about what'sgood and what's bad, with a look at what this might mean for other aspectsof the game. For example, this could be a fun competitive clan activity! Beginner topic: mid-game struggles. Advanced topic: Farmable ephemera.
It's time for the child god himself, young Nezha! Run around on your roller blades leaving fire behind you, why not? Jokes aside, Nezha is pretty good - better than Cephalon Greg's sound quality in this episode (what's up with that)!
Have a listen to why nobody should be disappointedto have a Nezha on their side.
It's officially a year since we began this journey, and Megan Everett ([DE]Megan) from Digital Extremes joined us in celebration! We had an absolute blast - Megan wasvery pleasant to chat with! We may have gone on a bit long...
Or maybe it's because we had to cover Devstream 129 this week as well? Whatever the reason, butckle up - it's long, but it's good. Promise.
With modular weapons in Warframe and a bunch of new passives that we've noticed are warframe-specific, we decided to have a chat about how weapons have evolved over the lifetime of the game, and where we hope things go in the future. It's interesting the way things are going! For our beginner and advanced topics this week, we provide a roundup of all of the topics we have covered since Episode 25, just to get new (and old!) listeners up to speed.
The trickster. The jester herself. Mirage.
This particular warframe has her own special set of Abilities based on tricks of light and illusion. While these Abilities do have some CC aspects, and when combined with certain augments, even some Support elements, she's really a DPS frame at her most basic.
And she's absolutely worth it - listen to find out why.
We covered all the exciting things shown off during TennoLive at TennoCon, but what about the cool stuff shown on other panels? This week the Cephlaons discussed some of the assets revealed on the Art panel, and take a deep dive into Invasions. What are you waiting for?!
It's the gunslinger herself! Unless you've been sleeping under a rock (or perhaps you've just started Warframe, that's also a possibility), you're probably aware that Mesa is considered top tier. But why? Can't all the warframes use guns? what makes Mesa so special?
Well, my friend, listen on to find out!
It's that time of year again, when Tenno from all around the world make the pilgramage to London, Ontario, Canada to experience TennoCon, the annual Warframe Fan Conference. Well... those with money at least.
Your Cephalons watched TennoLive so you don't have to. You SHOULD, but you don't have to. Havea listen to what we have to say - it really was a good show this year, yet again!
As always - THERE BE SPOILERS WITHIN.
Avoid at all costs if you are not up to date with the story.
Otherwise... in this episode, we look to get completely up to date prior to the release of The New War!Wecover The Chimera Prologue, The Wolf of Saturn Six AND The Jovian Concord, and there are ALOT of juicy details to get into. I promise.
In addition, with the special TennoCon relay popping up again this weekend,it was also a good opportunity to look at the story behind Baro Ki'Teer.
We loved recording this one - hope you enjoy it as much as we did.
Ahem - one more time... SPOILERS.
I'm not sure we ever really thought we'd make it this far when we first started the podcast, but here we are - Episode 50. And, like we had threatened to do, we made this one a livestream, in which our listeners (and viewers) could Ask Us Anything.
We had a hell of a lot of fun with this one - we had more viewers than we expected, and we got a whole bunch of really good, insanely fun questions. Please have a listen, and join in the fun as we enter our 1-year Anniversary celebrations. We're glad to be here, and we're even gladder that you have come along for the ride.
Mag - the Magnetic frame - manupulates the battlefieldusing her crazy magnetic abilities. She's a frame that peoplelove to hate, but she doesn't really deserve it all, to be honest. Have a listen to find out our thoughts!
Note: there are audio issues in this episode that I was unable to fix. I'vefigured out where it came from, so it should be prevented in the next episode, but... my apologies.
Note part 2: This episodeis also up on YouTube as ourfirst live recorded podcast video! It's a bit... awkward, but check it out!
At long last, Wukong finally got his rework this week, and boy did DE do a good job. So good in fact, that we felt we had to dedicate this week's discussion topic to it. It's a kind of short episode this week, asit was quiet while we head into the final stretch before TennoCon, but damn... Wukong is so good, we had to talk about it. Also? Next week is our livestream - keep an eye on Facebook and Twitter for details.
Beginner topic: good early frames to chase
Advanced topic: Kitguns pt2, Pax arcanes
Loki. The perfect trollframe. But not only is he great for trolling, he's pretty great for a bunch of things, and actually just really easy to understand. If Loki were a real person, he'd just be agood bloke, that likes to have a laugh sometimes. I'd have a beer with Loki.
Anyway. Listen to this episode to find out why he's good.
It's week week after E3 and a few weeks before TennoCon, and although there are a bunch of events going down in Warframe, there's not much NEWS. So instead of a bunch of news and discussion, this week we bring you an interview with a Warframe Partner - Xenogelion!
In addition, we look at progression in the early game for our beginner topic, and kitguns for advanced.
Love him or hate him, the dimensional magician Limbo is a powerful force to be reckoned with. Thebiggestissue with his kit is that he can be quite complex to understand. We take the time to break him downso that by the end of this episode, you hopefully will not only understand how to use Limbo, but also how to use him without annoying other players. Because he is pretty damned good in the right hands.
The grind in Warframe - how much is too much, and how does it compare to other games? We discuss this, as wellas how we feel it impacts monetisation and replayability. Beginer topic: Playing Solo; Advanced topic: Sentinels, part 2.
A quiet week for news, but it gave us the chance to have a chat with a member of our Discord community! This week, we speak with Xbox player Ironheart, and discuss burnout and how to get back into Warframe after a break.
Beginner topic: Syndicate Standing
Advanced topic: Sentinels, pt 1
SPOILERS. I shouldn't need to say this, but I totally need to say this. SPOILERS.
Anyway, that aside, this is a long one, but in my humble opinion, it's one of our best. There is so much awesome lore in these quests that it was exciting just to PLAN for this episode, let alone record it. So listen, and letus know your thoughts, but again - SPOILERS.
Well... Another day, another Devstream.
Yep - another AWESOME Devstream full of AWESOME things! This was quite the exciting one actually - if you look at what was shown off, it probablywasn't the "busiest" Devstream, but hot damn - DE dropped some smashing artwork on us and we are lost for words.
Beginner topic this week: modding for beginners
Advanced topic: the combo meter
With no Devstream this week, the Cephalons decided to throw a party - a modding party! Yes,it's a modding Special this week, with a focus on early to mid game to help players out there better understand mods. More than that, though, advanced players can get involved in the discussion - are mods getting out of hand?
In addition, the guys have something to say about the future of Cephlaon Squared - get this episode in your ears to find out what that entails.
Inaros, the Sandframe, is as unkillable as a pile of sand. Go on - try to kill a pile of sand, I'll wait.
Couldn't do it, could you?
Anyway, listen to find out why we think Inaros is a great addition to yourstable of must-have Warframes.
Episode 43 coincides with the final few days of Nightwave Series 1, so we decided to have a chat about the Tactical Alert, and whether or not we thought this was a fitting end to the Series. We may or may not also get into a little speculation about what Series 2 may bring...
For this week's tips, we cover Affinity (beginner) and the Kubrow breeds (advanced).
Hildryn, the Shield Maiden is easily as tough as she looks. If you've got what it takes to do the grind for her blueprint (the rest of her components are pretty easily acquired), then she's worth it. Have a listen to find out why.
After a few weeks of awesome interviews, we're back with another Devstream! DE tried to cram as much as possible into this one, so there's quite a lot to cover. Of course, in addition to this major discussion, we also provide beginner (Mastery Tests) and Advanced (Adaptation mod) tips and this week, we also launch a new segment - Dr Cephalon!
Hydroid. Water boy. Pirateframe. Whatever you want to call him, just know that he loves water. Here, the Cephalons discuss Hydroid's abilities and what makes him tick. Is he any good? Listen to find out our thoughts.
Episode 41! This week, we interview Streamer and Youtuber (and Warframe Partner) Michel Postma - he's a great guy with a lot of knowledge about the game and the people involved.
In addition, we cover the week's news, and provide our beginner (are Prime Access packs worth buying?) and advanced (Focus lenses) tips and tricks.
WARNING - THERE ARE SPOILERS IN THIS EPISODE!
Avoid if you haven't completed the main questline (up to and including The Chimera Prologue), or at the very least, The Chains of Harrow!!
However, if you've played it all - listen on to hear all of the intriguing new bits of information we discovered in The Chains of Harrow, and provide some backstory behind the Red Veil...
Wow - how far we've come in such a short period of time!
In episode 40, we interview Warframe Partner Accessible Gamer, and hear some stories about the challenges many gamers face simply engaging with video games. More importantly, we hear about how they can overcome these challenges. It's a great chat.
Apart from that, we cover the news this week, and provide beginner (credit farming in the early game) and advanced (Focus Schools - Madurai) tips.
It's another mini! In this episode, we cover the new guy on the block (at the time of recording at least) - Baruuk! The monkframe is cooler than he seems at first, with abilities that make him fairly unkillable. Have a listen to find out why.
While there was no Devstrea this week, there was no shortage of news! Still, Cephalons Greg and Lucas manage to have a good chat about Umbral Forma and the Umbral/Sacrificial mods and where this seems to suggest the game might be headed. It's not as straightforward as one might initially think! Beginner topic: trading. Advanced topic: Focus schools part 4 - Zenurik.
Who likes horror? I like horror! Harrow, the Dark Priest himself, also likes horror. At least, I expect he does. This week, we take a look at Harrow, his Abilities, and his augments, and hopefully shine a bit of light onto what is ultimately a complex Warframe.
There was a lot to talk about this week, with the release of the Plains of Eidolon Remaster, and Devstream 126. It just keeps looking like 2019 is going to be huge for Warframe, and we can't wait. Beginner topic: quick Platinum for beginners; Advanced topic: Focus Schools p3, Unairu.
Yep - you read it right Dreamers. This special episode is an interview with Nora Night herself. Not much else needs to be said, apart from the fact that she is one hell of an interesting person, and this was an absolute blast.
This week, we discuss what we hope to see from Warframe in 2019, based on an interview released by Mogamu on YouTube (definitely worth watching). Lots fo things to look forward to - including a very special interview episode that's next in our release pipeline! Beginner topic: what to buy with platinum vs what to farm; Advanced topic: Focus tree - Vazarin
Avoid if you haven't completed the main questline (up to and including The Chimera Prologue), or at the very least, The War Within!!
However, if you've played it all - listen on to hear us complete the story to The War Within, and provide some backstory behind the Space Ninja Master himself, Teshin...
With no Devstream and no interviews, the Cephalons decided to have a chat about the grind, with particular reference to The Orb Vallis and The Plains of Eidolon. Which do we think is better/more fun? You'll have to listen to find out! And as always - there's lots more besides! (Beginner topic: resources for beginners; Advanced topic: Focus - Naramon)
Avoid if you haven't completed the main questline (up to and including The Chimera Prologue), or at the very least, The War Within!!
However, if you've played it all - listen on to hear us recall the first half of The War Within, and provide some backstory behind the enigmatic Grineer Queens...
It's our first Community Spotlight! Here, we have a good long chat with BackyardisTV - an Aussie Warframe Partner, Streamer, Content Creator, and all-round nice guy. We've released this as an additional special episode because we had such a good time chatting, we got carried away! Let us know your thoughts on this - is three episodes too many releases in one week, or do you want ALL THE EPISODES, ALL THE TIME?
If you like Jim, you can follow him all around the Internet using "BackyardisTV" (at least on Twitch, Twitter, YouTube, and Discord that is).
Warframe! In episode 35, we go over the latest Devstream, and some of what was announced to be coming to the game in the future. In addition, we have a couple of minor announcements and a few good laughs. Beginner topic: Warframe Etiquette; Advanced: Focus Trees. Have a listen!
Garuda, the goreframe. As elegant as she is deadly, Garuda is quite an interesting warframe, with a solid kit enabling her to both support her allies and deal out a massive amount of damage. While she doesn't necessarily excel at anything in particular, she's quite a solid choice for whatever you may be doing.
What do we honestly think of Nightwave and the Profit Taker fight? Listen to find out! We also cover the recent release of Operation: Buried Debts on PC, among other things. Beginner topic: introduction to the Plains of Eidolon. Advanced topic: Arcanes! Check it out, and as always - thank you for your support.
