Senior faculty members Jane Huang, Ron Krieser, Ben Lieberman, Ben Railton, and Jeff Warmouth discuss lessons learned in balancing research with a 4/4 teaching load. The panel discussion took place on Dec. 4, 2019 in Ellis White Lecture Hall and concluded with a Q&A session.
Experiences with Whiting Foundation Grants
The Marion and Jasper Whiting Foundation funds New England college and university faculty members looking to study or conduct research abroad. Jessica Robey "Collective Memory: The Roadside Mythologies of Peter Beerits"
Professor of Art History, Jessica Robey, speaks on her early thinking on a chronicling the life work of sculptor Peter Beerits following an inspiring visit to his Nervous Nellies Jams and Jellies shop, which is surrounded by his installations. The talk was highly visual, so we recommend viewing her powerpoint and watching Beerit's montage of the installations.
