Oftentimes it is a limiting mindset that keeps people from moving forward. If we understand this, we can help to eliminate those mindsets and allow them to pursue the potential and dreams in their lives.

What a great time to be alive in the world! 

With all of the things that are going on all over the globe, I am often asked, "How can you say that?" -or- "What are you so happy about?"

Let me explain. Yesterday, I ended up on a call with the tech department of my email service because things we not loading right in my browser. I could not access my follow-up campaigns and I needed to make some very important edits.

So here I am asking how "Michelle" is doing. Checking in on how here day was. Smiling while I shared about my day and my kids. Sharing some humorous things my son had said that morning. All in all, just treating her like a person instead of someone who was supposed to make my life better. 

I joked with her and said, "I really do apologize for making your morning difficult. I am sure you could have dealt with five easier fixes by the time we het this squared away! LOL"

Her answer...

"Well, sir...this is certainly less than ideal." That set me back for a moment and then she went on to say, "For you that is. For me, this is the best call I have had in months! You can't access a service you are paying for, we can't seem to find a solution, I am going to have to escalate it to a different department, and yet here you are...showering me with kindness! How...?"

So I said, "Let me explain. If you squeeze an apple - you get apple juice. If you squeeze an orange - you get orange juice. When things go wrong and you begin to feel the pressures of the world all around you - what spills out is what is inside you. You can't control in your situation what is outside of your ability but you can control what you add to it."

I heard it all change in her voice in that moment and she found a level of peace from that moment on. She never did solve the issue. It has been escalated and they are currently working on a solution. The important thing is that a simple conversation created an opportunity to connect and impact someone powerfully.

That is why it is such a great time to be alive. Never before has their been such a need worldwide for connection and guidance. The world is lost in so many different ways and you have the ability to be a leader in your area. Don't let the opportunity pass you by.

If you are looking to make a difference in your life then you need to make sure you set effective goals that actually change things!

Effective goal setting is more than writing a list of the things you want and then trying to accomplish them. It is about setting goals in a way that create changes in your life and circumstance. 

Listen carefully and pay attention so that you can create goals that no one else can stop!

Open your eyes and serve someone. Service starts  in the humblest fo ways. It may be talking to someone who is having a bad day. Offering to help someone with bringing their trash to the curb. If we are not consistent in doing the least of these things how can our Father entrust us with tasks of greater importance?

Fear of failure or success can be paralysing but is that really what is holding you back? Take 6 minutes to look at a different angle and see if you will move forward today?!

Goals can be the thing that keeps you down if you don't approach them properly.

Make sure to optimize your time and processes to help you accomplish as much as possible each day.

Trying to find that perfect balance between life and work can be one of the most exasperating things that we can do. 

What tops it off is when they tell us that we're supposed to keep our job and our faith separate. 

It just can't be done!

See, I don't understand why anybody thinks that this is something that's possible and I'm going to tell you why. Because for me, I understand there's never going to be a balance between home, a home life and your work. 

One is always going to require more of your time. 

There are things that need to be done. 

• Your family is going to require your time
• They're going to require your mental and emotional energy
• Your business is going to need an investment at one point
• Your kids are going to need new shoes
• Your wife is going to need something new
• You're going to need to take care of your car
• Deal with unexpected breakdown of a furnace  
• your car needs to be replaced

All of these things are things that are going to take our time, our money, our attention, they're going to utilize resources in a greater amount than the other one at some point. 

So there's never going to find a balance. 

You have to learn to work with the ebb and the flow of both your work and your business.

There is so much to be said about the Kingdom of God, but where do we start? 

I think the best place to start is to figure out how we fit into the picture. Without first understanding how we fit, how can we understand how it will affect us?

So let's dive in to this message with an open heart and a desire for God to move us deeply today!

There is so much more that can be experienced when we realize that we are not alone in this world.
