Energy Money Tips 365 Day 23

Money seems to have its own energy. Some people seem to be tuned into this energy and attract money. While others repel it.

Life is energy and you need it to get out of bed in the morning.

Look after your health and get enough sleep so that you have sufficient energy to work, or lunch and run a business.

Successful and wealthy people usually have above average energy. The very rich, like billionaires, are blessed with super levels of energy and drive, and can work for 16 hours a day without a break.

Examples include Elon Musk, Donald Trump, Steve Jobs and John D. Rockefeller.

One way to generate your own energy is to become enthused and passionate about your work.

If you’re not passionate about what you’re doing, then you need to either reignite this passion or find something that you are passionate about.

To help you, I am running a free training webinar on money management and wealth building tips. Click link: https://bit.ly/3QPp8IH

6 Tips To Survive The Recession And Thrive Financially

6 Tips To Survive The Recession And Thrive Financially

Are you worried about the future of the economy and your finances? It's a valid concern, especially with the uncertainty that comes with a recession. But what if I told you that there's a way to not only survive but thrive during tough economic times?

Through extensive research and experience, I have uncovered 6 proven tactics that have helped people weather any recession and thrive financially. These tactics have been tested and refined, and I am confident that they will work for you too.

There’s no doubt that we are living in challenging economic times and many people are living in fear. But if you always do what you’ve always done, you’ll always get what you’ve always got!

1.      Cut costs: Reduce expenses by reviewing and negotiating bills, cutting unnecessary spending, and finding more affordable alternatives.

2.      Diversify income streams: Consider taking on a side job or starting a side hustle or business to supplement your main income.

3.      Build up an emergency fund: Having a cushion of savings can provide financial stability during tough times.

4.      Invest in skills development: Updating your skills or learning new ones can increase your job security and earning potential. Become indispensable and adaptable, like dogs!

5.      Focus on debt repayment: Pay off high-interest debt, like credit cards, to reduce monthly expenses and increase financial stability.

6.      Don’t use credit cards and debt on consumer goods: Stop buying ‘stuff’ on high interest credit, ‘buy no pay later’ loans, and learn the difference between ‘good debt’ and ‘bad debt’.

Finally, keep learning and working on yourself and you will thrive in any economy.

All successful or physically fit people, I know, have self discipline and control, all failures and unhealthy people don’t.

Just like keeping fit or living healthily, saving is a habit which requires a certain amount of self discipline and willpower.

Respect Money - Money Tips 365 Day 20

Respect money and money will respect you.

People respect and nurture their money will inevitably build wealth and become financially free.

People who are broke and constantly running out of money invariably treat their money badly by wasting it, losing it, frivolously, gambling and generally not looking after it.

Even the way you organise your money in your wallet or purse, organise your statements and accounts, all point towards how you respect your money.

Luck! Do You Feel Lucky? - Money Tips 365 Day 19

Luck! Do You Feel Lucky? - Money Tips 365 Day 19

Luck plays an important factor in your life in more ways than you would think.

If you’re reading this book or listening to my podcasts on a computer, you are already lucky.

If you were born in the first world, western country with free healthcare and education you have more luck on your side than you can imagine.

Billionaires like Bill Gates, and Steve Jobs were lucky to be born in the right place at the right time, to meet their business partners and build businesses that change the world.

Obviously, you must take advantage of your luck and take action when serendipity comes your way.

Studies have shown that People who are generally luckier have certain common traits. They are generally friendly and nice to people they meet for the first time, and willing to strike up a conversation with a stranger.

Lucky people tend to be positive, open-minded, and willing to try new things.

They are usually happy, ‘glass half full’ people that you want to be around.

They are also grateful for everything they have in their life however small and are always turning negatives into positives. Like missing the train and instead of getting annoyed, they say, “oh well, at least now I have time to grab that coffee and a croissant “.

You also should take action and take part in things. As the old saying goes, you can’t win a prize if you don’t buy ticket!

Making A Professional Will Can Save You Thousands

Yesterday I said that there are two certainties in life: death, and taxes!

Taxes do not end when people die. Millions pay inheritance tax (IHT) o their parent’s estate, much of which can be legally avoided with proper tax planning.

The first step is making a Will, preferably with a professional who can advise you on mitigating IHT.

If you need help making a Will, email charles@charleskelly.net for a free consultation with a specialist.

Legally Pay Less Tax - Money Tips 365 Day 16 Tax

Legally Pay Less Tax - Money Tips 365 Day 16 Tax

Legally Pay Less Tax

There are two certainties in life, death, and taxes, as the old saying goes.

Legally mitigate your tax liability to pay as little tax as possible as allowed within the law.

This means taking advantage of tax breaks and allowances, for instance by maximising your savings into tax free ISAs and pension plans.

It also means adapting to changes in the tax laws, like George Osborne‘s section 24, tax hike, or Jeremy Hunt’s tax on landlord to rent out furnished holiday lets.

If necessary, seek advice from an independent financial advisor or accountant, especially if you are self-employed or running a business.

The law allows you to legally pay as tax as possible, but not illegal tax evasion.

A simple to follow money tip to help you get more done in less time.

The GOD Method

·        Get

·        One

·        Done

The simple time method consists of making a list of the most important things you need to get done the following day and then working on one at a time until the item is completed.

Work into a list means that you will not be drifting around during the day from one distraction to another. If you don’t work, so the list will end up feeling exhausted and will have achieved nothing.

There’s an old saying that if you want something done, give it to a busy man. It’s because the busy person works to a list or a system that can easily slot something into that list because they are organised.

All the successful people, I know work on a simple time, management system and get things done. I don’t waste time on trivial things, but have time for leisure, exercise and family.

The unsuccessful or disorganised person is always chasing their tail and invariably has no time to spend with family, exercising or reading.

Following the above system or your own simple list and sticking to, will mean that you will get more done and achieved more in your life than you ever thought possible.

When I was a financial advisor, I visited thousands of people in their homes. I noticed that wealthy and successful people had books in their living room and either small TV in the corner, or no TV at all. On the other hand, poorer people had the biggest TV available at the time, which took up centre stage in their tiny living rooms.

I saw statistics years ago that I need 10% of people ever read a book after leaving school. I’m not sure how accurate this statistic is, but I know that the people in the top 10% of income brackets are usually readers.

I have always got several books on the go, including audiobooks, which I consume on Audible. This is a great app that allows you to listen to one book a month for a small monthly fee.

I listen to books that read my mind with education and positive thoughts, rather than entertainment candy. However, whatever you read, it is better than not reading at all.

Children should also be encouraged to read rather than watching TV or playing computer games all day.  If you’re a parent struggling to get your child to read, try incentivising them if they can read one book a week and give you a short report on the content.

Exercise feeds your body, reading feeds your mind.

Your reputation has a value. Even if you can’t put a figure on it. You’ll also feel better about yourself and be more congruent with your values if you are honest life.

Contrary to popular belief, most wealthy people are honest in their dealings with others and live, law-abiding lives, paying their taxes.

The vast majority of business is carried out by stock trust, so being honest is a must, if you are going to prosper in business.

You also need to be honest with yourself. Can you look yourself in the eye in the mirror and say that you are an honest and trustworthy person?
