Sheffield are rivaling Derby's record of 10 points in the league.

By no means is the season a forgone conclusion at the end of this but you just sense the winner tonight might very well take it all come May.

Premier League Show - "Arsenal are beating Spurs 5-0 mark it!"

The premier league isn’t a sprint it’s a marathon. As a marathon runner knows the start and finish are essential, but so is the middle chunk of the race.

This weekend marks the start of that chunk.

From now to the start of the World Cup teams will have an unpunctuated stretch of games to show what they are truly made off.

For some business as usual might suffice (Arsenal, Man City, Brighton ) for others, this break served as a chance to reload, and re-evaluate, there are a few who might even need complete overall (Leicester, Wolves, Villa) and some who have started putting it together (Spurs, Man United).

One this is for sure though, with all the characters introduced ACT II is about to begin in full earnest and we can’t wait to indulge.
