We are in full swing of competition for CR6 and CEA with FACEIT Collegiate on the horizon! 

Lots of familiar faces battling for the top spots to qualify for Premier and Open Playoffs in CR6 and tight competition for the 12 teams in the CEA Invite league. 

This week we focus on CR6 and cover the breadth of old timers and new blood and where they all have fallen in this 5 geo-located league's season. Whether they'd qualify for playoffs if the season ended today or not, we talk through the teams and where we saw them coming in.

Check Your 6 - Fall Season Week 1 w/ Tanner Stark

We have a message from @LuchoUlven, captain of the R6 squad at Colorado University at Boulder talking about his team's first match up against Arizona State University in the Fall CEA Invite League! We also have Tanner Stark (@SportTrik), the captain and IGL for ASU's R6 squad as a guest on the show to talk about how the match went from his perspective. 

We get into Tanner's long and incredible story of being in esports as former CEO of Distrupt Gaming, what got him into R6 and got him into competing in collegiate.

The impact of Covid is reaching the CEA, CR6 and CRSL leagues; teams dropping out of leagues, match deadlines changing, roster accommodations and additional communications. There's a lot to unpack, but for the most part it seems relatively quiet. How much longer that lasts, is a good question.

Aside from my own technical difficulties (you'll hear me drop out occassionally), a storm messed with Syntaxx's ability to join me this week. We'll discuss Pro League Season XI part 2, week 1 and week 2 on the next episode.

• Arizona State and Akron are heavy hitters in the Invite League we may get the pleasure to watch multiple times this season
• Galahad division: Standings didn't change this week but I think there'll be a clear division from between the top two and the bottom two teams.
• Lancelot division is led by Pennsylvania University and it is pretty close with all of the teams.
• RIT Orange is dominating the Percival division as the only 2-0 team in the entire invite league and it puts them well out of reach for the next week, unless the y lose.
• Mordred division is pretty close competition, but I can't tell if they're the tired division or the one I'll pay for for sleeping on.

We are down to the final two teams in a battle for the national championship of Collegiate Rainbow 6 Siege and the pride of being the best in Texas, University of Houston takes on Texas A&M.

Only three undefeated teams left: Ohio State, Central Florida and Iowa State.

Week 7 Recap:

British Columbia marches through Washington State Oklahoma State and Maryville tied UNC-Charlotte heavily fortifies third place in their group with a win over NJIT Utah and Illinois State also tied putting their chances of making an appearance in the post-season very much in question

Games to Watch in Week 8:

UC-Davis vs. Northern Arizona in the race for 2nd place in Lion Group 1 Angelo State and Ferris State are top tier teams and could provide one of the highest level R6 matches of the week Colorado Mines vs Michigan State couldn't have a closer match in the league at this time and in the middle of the pack in Falcon Group 2

Three groups have their top 5 set, but the order of their five is yet to be determined: Eagle Group 2, Falcon Group 2 and Viper Group 1
