The lads chat through all the Six Nations action, including Italy's deserved win over Scotland and a resurgent French side hammering Wales.

A massive thank you to everyone who sent in some questions over the past week. We have decided to focus on the quick fire ones this time round as we want to make sure we have a full house for the more 'in-depth' questions.

Gloucester Hartpury continued their unbeaten run in the league, making it 12 from 12 - Jim gives us the lowdown on the game and the key performances. We also chat through the recent rumours surrounding potential incomings, plus the sad announcement by Jake Polledri that he is retiring from Rugby.

We discuss the performances, the win and how the cup competitions continue to give us hope for the season.

The lads also chat through the England A squad announcement, the u18's Finals Day, rumours and important re-signings plus Glos-Hartpury making it 10 out of 10 in the league to finally reach the top this season.

Series 5 - Episode 22: Glos Hartpury with another comeback win; England beat Wales; Scotland hilariously robbed, Ireland ease to a win over Italy; How can we fix rugby?

Another superb comeback for Gloucester Hartpury as they overturn a large second half deficit to beat local rivals Bristol. Jim takes us through the game and the importance of keeping this unbeaten run going.

Elsewhere, in the Six Nations, England managed to sneak a win over a young Wales side, Ireland eased passed a disappointing Italy while Scotland were robbed of a last second win over a disjointed France by a very controversial TMO decision. The main part of the pod though this week is our discussion around ideas that could improve the game as a whole.

Series 5 - Episode 21: Six Nations Round One review; Potential Saudi investment into Gloucester; Glos-Hartpury's incredible comeback and general nonsense about American Football

Just when we thought we would be having a relatively quiet few weeks discussing the Six Nations and the Glos-Hartpury women's fixtures, news broke of potential Saudi investment into Gloucester and three other Premiership clubs. The guys give their honest opinions on the issue, before chatting through Gloucester-Hartpury's incredible comeback win over Leicester Tigers Women, the Six Nations week one results and why we were definitely robbed at the Sports Podcast Awards.

Series 5 - Episode 20: Gloucester win their first league game in 10! Premiership Cup dilemma; Six Nations preview

After 100 days, 9 consecutive league defeats and lots and lots of misery the Cherry and Whites finally managed to put in a decent performance to beat an all be it depleted Sale Sharks side. The lads chat through the performance, the improvements, the key players and the much needed perspective to the result.

We also discuss the upcoming Premiership Cup Semi Final and ask whether we do our very best to win the competition, or maybe sacrifice it for the chance of something greater in Europe.

Finally we give our Six Nations predictions and talk through the chances of an upset in Rome for England.

After a week off due to Ed not having a voice following the victory up in a cold Edinburgh, the boys are back and for once are generally happy! We chat through both victories and a much better performance against an all be it weakened French opposition. Could this be the catalyst for a win in the league over Sale Sharks?

We also mull over Glos-Hartpury's excellent victory over Saracens at Kingsholm and the shock news that Superstar winger Louis Rees-Zammit is leaving Rugby Union with immediate effect and heading to the NFL.

A new record broken for Gloucester Rugby and an unwanted one at that. The Cherry and Whites slipped to their ninth consecutive league defeat, this time away to arch rivals Bath. We chat through the game and the need for change, especially in the coaching department.

Before that we do have some fun with your excellent questions sent in via Twitter, including which is the best Pub in Gloucester? What would we have spent £200k on when we were 16 years old and which Bath player would we immediately sign.

Are there any positives to pull out (other than four losing bonus points)? What next for George Skivington and the rest of the coaches? Will the Bath game be where we pull the plug?

Buckle up and endure the rest of the season, actively make moves to change things, should supporters consider making their feelings known more vocally? Is that 'too football'???

Gloucester beat Quins in an exciting, tense and topsy-turvy game that was an absolute must win. The lads also discuss the other weekend results and the continuing drama and mess that is Welsh Rugby. Now at a point where the players are considering strike action.

Series 4 - Episode 23: Gloucester release Season Tickets for 2023/24; No promotion from the Championship (again); England u20 action at Kingsholm and Six Nations review plus the latest on Worcester

A rather longer podcast than normal this week as we discuss the new Season Ticket prices and deal offered to supporters, plus the news from Premier Rugby and the RFU that once again there is unlikely to be any Promotion to the Premiership this season.

The lads also chat about the u20 International between England and Italy at Kingsholm, plus the Six Nations action including the incredible Ireland v France match and England's win over Italy at Twickenham.

Finally Ed chats to Worcester News' Sports Editor, Marcello Cossali-Francis, about the latest at Worcester and whether there really is any light at the end of the tunnel.

Series 4 - Episode 22: Six Nations Week 1 Review

England put in an improved performance but were beaten by two World class finishes from Van der Merwe. The guys chat through the positives, the negatives and the individual performances. We also discuss the other two matches and why banning Delilah is probably not going to help Wales too much.

Series 4 - Episode 21: A double bubble pod; Gloucester secure a last 16 tie away to La Rochelle with a great win in Bordeaux; Defeat at Sandy Park and our thoughts on the Tackle height plans

After a great weekend and result in Bordeaux the Cherry and Whites have secured knockout rugby in the Champions Cup for only the second time in 15 years. We discuss the game, performance and our hopes for the next round. Unfortunately Gloucester weren't able to back up the win at Exeter and fell to a disappointing defeat at Sandy Park.

The guys chat through what went wrong and the need to regroup over the Six Nations break. Finally we add our thoughts to the ongoing and furious debate around tackle height and how badly the RFU have handled it.

Series 4 - Episode 20: An interview with Alix Popham and Tom Morris of Progressive Rugby - Concussion, TBIs, Head injuries and tackling - The future of Rugby and what needs to change

When we started this pod back in 2020, the main aim was to chat nonsense about our favourite Rugby Club. As the years have gone on, we have managed to speak to Gloucester and England legends about their playing days; fans about their memories and plenty of frivolous and unimportant aspects of the game we all love.

This special pod is different. Ed speaks to former Wales, Newport, Leeds, Llanelli and Brive player, Alix Popham who in late 2020 announced he was suffering from early onset dementia. A disease caused by the game he played professionally for 14 years. As more and more players have discovered they are in the same boat including several World Cup winners and former superstars, Ed and Alix are joined by Tom Morris, a core member of Progressive Rugby who are a non-profit lobby group aiming to secure a safer future for rugby players and ensure a healthier and sustainable game in general.

A massive thanks to both Alix and Tom for their time. Please visit https://www.progressiverugby.com/ and https://headforchange.org.uk/ to learn more and support Alix, in raising money to support this hugely worthwhile cause.

Series 4 - Episode 19: Gloucester well beaten by an impressive Ireland, we mean Leinster side; the return of Snowy and all our questions answered; Billy Twelvetrees and Jordy Reid to leave?

Gloucester put out their strongest possible side against Leinster and were given a rugby lesson. Basically playing an Ireland XV (without a couple of their better players too) the Cherry and Whites were swept aside by a ruthless and excellent Leinster team.

The lads chat through the game, what went well (Val and the Scrum); what went wrong (pretty much everything else) and whether the format and the competition can genuinely continue with this level of disparity.

With the return of Snowy after a few weeks absence, we ask him all the questions he's being dying to answer and discuss the potential departure of Billy Twelvetrees and Jordy Reid to Ealing, plus lots more.

Series 4 - Episode 18: Gloucester lose to Saracens in last gasp controversial heartbreak

We know you wanted to hear our thoughts on this and considering everything we are pretty calm and collected. The lads discuss the game, the positives, the negatives, the heartbreak and the controversies Are we just salty, bitter and over-reacting? Do Gloucester Fans deserve the criticism from some for the booing? Just how useless is Karl Dickson? Ok, we may be a little salty and bitter.

Series 4 - Episode 17: Gloucester sneak a last kick win over London Irish but attacking concerns still persist; Joe Marler incident (week 2) and how bad would Cherry Jam Live! be?

Gloucester won with the last kick of the match in a hard fought and tight encounter with London Irish. The weather and the reluctance to attack from either side meant a sell out crowd got a little restless, but ultimately a win is a win. We discuss the game, the positives and the persistent concerns around the lack of any attacking structure.

We also chat through the latest in the Joe Marler incident and whether an ex-player should ref their old club. Finally we consider how bad a Cherry Jam Live! event would be.

Series 4 - Episode 16: A review of European weeks 1 and 2 (and the stupid format); Gloucester's disappointing defeat away to Tigers; Joe Marler, Max Brito and Pele

The lads are back to run through the first couple of rounds of European action, from the late and big win over Bordeaux to the inevitable defeat to Leinster. We also chat about the really stupid format and why Gloucester's decision to send an 'inexperienced' side over to Dublin was always going to happen with how the competition is run.

Finally, we talk about the disappointing defeat away to Leicester, the issues surrounding Joe Marler and the sad loss of Max Brito and Pele.

Series 4 - Episode 14: Gloucester lose to Quins but the performance is more worrying; England continue to disappoint; RIP Doddie; New ideas for Rugby and a New European shirt

***DISCLAIMER***

We are really sorry for the delay in getting our last couple of pods out - unfortunately work and life has got in the way so we have been limited in numbers and time. Hopefully this is now all sorted and we are back up and running as normal now!

Gloucester lose away to Quins, but the performance was the worrying aspect. England lose to South Africa and its now surely time to call it quits with Eddie Jones? Ed and Jim chat about the rugby but also pay tribute to the wonderful Doddie Weir who sadly passed away after his courageous fight with MND.

Finally we also run through the interesting and downright daft suggestions leaked about the new ideas to spice up Rugby Union and the new European Gloucester shirt

A game that only Jim managed to get to (and couldn't remember) we are a little light on detail covering Gloucester's win over Bristol in the Premiership Cup. However we did all manage to watch the International action including England's incredible recovery to draw with New Zealand and Wales' shock defeat to Georgia.
