Steve Pike is the President and Founder of Urban Islands Project, a national collaborative organization dedicated to increasing the presence of the Church the urban core of America’s 40 largest urban centers. He is also the primary host of the Next Wave Community, a real time peer learning community for church leaders in challenging contexts.

Prior to initiating Urban Islands Project, Steve served as the Founding Director of the Church Multiplication Network. CMN serves church multipliers to effectively equip, strategically fund and innovatively network new faith communities in America. Since its formation in 2008, CMN has assisted with the starting of over 4000 new congregations in every region of the US.

Steve is the author “Next Wave- Discovering the 21st Century Church,” “Total Fitness For Your Church,” and co-author with Dr. Tom Nebel of “Leading Church Multiplication,” available from ChurchSmart Resources.

Steve’s passion for church multiplication began in 1989 when Steve and his wife, Cherri, pioneered a new church that became the catalyst of a church planting movement in the state of Utah that continues to this day. The Pikes make their home in Denver, Colorado. They are blessed to be the parents of Lindsy and Jeremy and the grandparents of Myles, Koen, Wesley and James.

Ali Gentry is the Women’s Ministry Director at Renovation Church in Phoenix, AZ. She has also been serving on the Sunday Morning Teaching Team for four years. Ali has lead the Women’s Ministry for five years including weekly bible study, writing her own bible study, annual women’s retreats, and other events throughout the year.

She has a passion to teach others how to study the Word on their own and discover the layers of mystery and beauty that the Bible reveals to us. Her heart is for people to know God, His character, love and truth so that they can be Christ to others from their first-hand knowledge of the Word!

Ali founded a monthly women’s event in Phoenix called ARISE. It is a once-a-month event for women across all ages, churches and backgrounds to come together, connect, worship, and grow in the faith! Her heart is for unity within the Church and hopes that this event is one step in the direction of building bridges between ages, denominations, and races.

In addition to studying, teaching, preaching and producing ARISE, Ali loves to travel. Adventure is in her soul! She believes by going on new adventures and meeting new people, we can experience the creativity of God on a deeper level. Along with travel, she loves her Green Bay Packers and all the donuts!

Ali’s heart is to help others see how they were uniquely created, gifted, and graced for such a time as this!

Beatrice Kwok, Author of the Best Gift Ever, has been featured in Brio  Magazine for her work as a Child Life Specialist, but spends her Days as  a Paralegal working in the Mergers and Acquisitions field. Beatrice is a  Jesus follower that has followed her passion, and worked to create a  path for many people to know the love of Jesus, while working in a  fast-paced, high stakes environment. Brian Phipps, the co-author of Find Your Place: Locating Your Calling Through Your Gifts, Passions, and Story, is the founder and President of Disciples Made.  Brian was the Next Steps (Disciple-Making) pastor at the Megachurch, Westside Family Church for nine years where he developed their discipleship and leadership development pathway in which the Disciples Made experiences were created. The Disciples Made experiences incorporate a disciple-making “operating system” Brian designed called the Intentional Disciple-Making Environment. Brian has consulted with many churches in developing their disciple-making process and currently leads multiple cohorts of church leaders in Kansas City and around the country.

Singer/Songwriter Zan Fiskum uses her haunting and beautifully  controlled voice to craft ethereal and brooding Folk/Pop Songs. Zan’s  debut album, “Sleeping Problems'' is dropping on April 28th, 2021,  and  her most recent single “You are the Light” debuted before 1.2 millon  people on New Year's Eve with great fanfare. Receiving praise from the  likes of Billboard Magazine Camilla Cabello, The Indigo Girls, and  Maggie Rogers, Zan is quickly becoming a rising star in the Music  Industry. Zan also continues to get coaching from John Legend, her coach  from season 18 of The Voice where she was a top 9 finalist in 2020.
