A Redemption Story: On The Other Side of Alcoholism (w/John Kidd)
Got together with a close friend of mine to record this episode on a beautiful thanksgiving weekend. John Kidd has made a big impact on me with his story and I know it will impact a lot of people out there. John is a carpenter, farmer, entrepreneur, and most importantly a believer in Christ. Like many of us before we became believers in Jesus Christ we had a past. I am thankful for Johns' willingness to get vulnerable with his past, in hopes that it will reach someone else who needs to hear it. While he humbly admits like all of us, that his story is still being written. He knows God can use him in the present as he continues to learn and grow.

We also talked about the overwhelming, kind of unspoken pressure that life can throw at you to make huge life altering decisions. Things like finding a job, being a spiritual leader for your family, ministry, military, college, following God's callings on your life. All of this can, and will be extremely overwhelming. But how we handle it is what matters. This is why @brandon_larson1 wanted to record this months episode. He works at the church that I also work at, but falls under the production side at the church and is the Journey Production Manager for the church. Adam St. Clair has already been a huge blessing with his passion for production and We have been praying for a while for wisdom on who would be able to help me get the editing and production side of the podcast done and I can't think of a better person to do it. He edited and produced this as his first episode and I have to say it went very well.
This anniversary episode obviously has a special place in my heart, and it is our first year of marriage. We definitely don't know even close to everything about marriage but we picked up on a lot even in one year. I know this episode can go a long way with newly engaged couples or couples talking about getting married. We are very excited to see what ways that God will use it, thank you so much for listening and don't be afraid to drop an email in our box for questions or encouragement for the team.
