#rocky4 is getting a Director's Cut for a one-night only extravaganza, Dixon and Paradies will be in attendance as they discuss the film's impact and the #rocky franchise as a whole. To celebrate the 50th episode of the show, Dixon and good friend Charles Bodensieck review one of the most controversial films of all-time in the form of Salo: or the 120 Days of Sodom, how despite its violent and psychologically scarring scenes it still has a few points of good cinematography and moral tales. Dixon goes solo this week to interview his favorite YouTube personality, Daisuke Beppu. Famously known in the YouTube film collecting community as being one of the few individuals to possess a complete Criterion Film Collection including Laserdisc, DVD, and Blu Ray. Daisuke explores his origins growing up in three different countries throughout his life, reflecting on how Japanese culture became a part of his life during his teenage years with Akira Kurosawa films like "Yojimbo," as well as developing a love for the art of film and ultimately collecting films later on in his adult life. A fascinating and informative man who everyone should check out. Thanks to Daisuke for his time and giving his perspective on being a film aficionado.
