I Wanna Know What Christopher Robin Did To Get Put In Azkaban
This week we try something a little different as the three Chin Waggers put together a fire team of Disney characters each as we prepare for an assault on Azkaban to rescue Christopher Robin, so essentially Disney are breaking into Warner Brother's prison. We've all come up with a different plan of attack as well as almost an entirely different team of characters each, where we only have to share one character between two of us. You'll get to hear the full breakdown of the assaults towards the end, and as we go through we'll rattle out the reasons for each character making it to our squadrons. The Battle of Helm's Deep: Biblical
On this episode we get into some of the best battle scenes of all time. Ranging from the one man armies of Bruce Lee and Hit Girl, the bloody scenes of WW2, wild west shootouts and of course the greatest cinematic siege of all time at the Battle of the Hornberg in the Third Age of Middle Earth. We compare notes on why these battles take on such a lasting impression, from more than just the excitement and action of which they contain, but the interesting ideas and motivations of those involved. There are people who go to war without ever taking up arms just as much as there are others who take up arms to lay their lives on the line to save people for no reward save the fact that it is the right thing to do. A Pint, A Pie & A Play
This episode we find ourselves on a two man show to the empty amphitheatre of The Old Vic as we get into a much needed discussion of the state of theatre and the arts in Britain and the world right now. Solo has been getting increasingly frustrated at having not seen a live performance for far too long and so he recounts not only the great actors that theatre has given the world, through a case study on The Old Vic's theatre company, but also just the brilliance of this form of storytelling throughout history up to the present. The second half of the show is a much delayed discussion of the Mandalorian now that Roagan has at last finished that series, a few months too late. We discuss not only the characters introduced but also some of our favourite moments and how some of the points crossover between the Star Wars Canon from Rebels, Clone Wars, etc. So whether you miss the theatre or are happily settled into the life of streaming, we have something for everyone.

In this episode we go to the far flung future of 2121 for a heist in and out of cyberspace as proposed by Sam, and then snap right back to post-war Berlin for a heist of a historical manuscript between the Russian and American occupied sectors with Roagan. With the various twist and turns involved in a successful bit of burglary, we're sure you'll enjoy this tale of theft across the centuries where we not only finally get to see a socialist society's triumph and a piece of post-war patriotism in action. The Film From Your Nan's Yard
With Roagan indisposed, Sam and Solo decided to take the week to get our DVD players out and put together a playlist of some of their favourite DVDs that were almost always on repeat when they were younger. Getting into not just these childhood classics as film and tv, but also the relationship you build with them by having the DVDs when you're younger, how they can reflect your viewing habits and opinions as an adult by the self imposed brainwashing we did by watching the same DVD multiple times a week. We manage to learn a little about where Solo's earliest experiences with super heroes came in and Sam tells us a bit about the traditional breakfast for watching Monster's Inc as we load up these discs to put on repeat a few hundred more times.

Yes Mate, Get Me In That Pool!
It's time to make volunteer as tribute everyone, as we rattle off our favourite heroes' deaths this week. We delve into what quantifies the hero's death as well as splitting hairs between what makes a hero and a 'movie' hero. We have a selection of warriors' sacrifices from across three favourite franchises of ours as well as some real gut wrenching ones that remind us all of the true price of heroism and how the death scene can be the moment to cement a character as a hero altogether. I Don't Want These Characters To Go
The Team is downgraded from a trio to a duet this episode as Sam enjoys some well earned sleep while Roagan and Solo discuss the horizon for film and tv in 2021 with an opening discussion on the sad news of Warner Brothers moving all their films to HBOMax with some of the creators not even being notified of the fact. But it's not all doom and gloom I assure you as we get into the Disney Investor Day with their slates for Star Wars and Marvel content on its way which you know we've got some theories on and a few hot takes about the things that excite us the most, as you know we never shy away from controversy. And Solo closes us out with a quick update on Doctor Who's Time Lord Victorious event as an interesting cross media event that is one of the most ambitious stories we've seen in how it crosses the medium of animation, books, comics, radio and even two live events that are all part of one single story arc.
