Hiking the Pacific Crest Trail (PCT) w/ Alex Kuck
After biking part of the Colorado trail with his brother, Alex was looking for his next challenge. He had heard of the PCT, but bing from Michigan it was always a major commitment to make the trip down to Southern California. When his contract working in wilderness therapy was coming to an end he realized he now had the gained the in-depth backpack experience he had lacked prior and was already living just a few hours away from the southern trailhead. Exploring Mongolia with the Bankhar Dog Project w/ Zoe Lieb
After working in wilderness therapy, Zoe Lieb journeyed to Mongolia to work with the Mongolian Bankhar Dog Project, a non-profit that is restoring the tradition of raising Bankhar dogs for managing livestock. As a nomadic people, rural Mongolians rely heavily on raising livestock and Bankhar dogs were raised specifically to help manage and protect their herds and preserve their way of life.
