Life Through Lyrics

Life Through Lyrics

By Chris Beneck

An exploration of the history behind some great songs, artists, and bands as well as what their lyrics "might" mean. I will also take time to tell some stories and discuss how these songs have affected me personally, added to my experiences, and shaped the person I have become. Really just a discussion of how a love of music can make your life better and how some great songs came to be in the first place!

Gordon Lightfoot's "The Wreck of the Edmund Fitzgerald" is by far one of his most famous songs, and has forever immortalized the "Fitz", her men, and the day she was lost. So, in honor of them and the anniversary of the tragedy please listen and enjoy Episode 3!
