Shiny Side Up is a podcast dedicated to Improved Production motor racing in Australia. We talk to drivers, and discuss the cars, the racing, the rules, and the people who make the sport what it is. We discuss technical issues around making cars faster and more reliable, and the politics revolving around the category as well. Hosted by IP racers Mik Hazelton and Chris White, the podcast is generally unfiltered, but interesting. We hope you enjoy it!
This week, Chris Brown joins us to talk about IP racing in South Australia, his first IP car (and a pretty famous one it was/is!), and the build and development journey of his stupidly quick AE86 Sprinter. Hope you enjoy it!
In tonight’s episode, Mik and I are joined by two-time U2L National Champion Dave Waldon. We cover recent results and gossip, and Draw talks us through his history in the category, his various cars, and his so-far-unsuccessful efforts to advocate for the addition of the Eunos Cosmo to the list of eligible IP vehicles.
