Circadian Rhythm Explained with Dr. Catherine Darley
85% of us use artificial light at night. This might not sound surprising or strange, but it does create problems for us and our circadian rhythm.
Our biological clocks, governed by circadian rhythms, are intricately linked to light exposure. When artificial light disrupts this natural cycle, it interferes with the production of melatonin, among other things. As a result, many of us find ourselves tossing and turning, unable to achieve the restorative sleep we need.
On this episode I was joined by Dr. Catherine Darley who was kind enough to share her insights on circadian rhythm and as well as some practical strategies to reclaim a harmonious sleep-wake cycle. H. Pylori and Sleep
If you’re an adult, you probably heard of H. pylori at some point in your life.
H. pylori is a bacteria that is common in a lot of people. It is the main cause of peptic ulcers, and as many as 50% of adults have this bacteria in their stomachs, at some point in their lives. Introducing the new CEO of Sleep Like A Boss: Annika Carroll
Sleep Like a Boss was born in 2016.
It took around a year to really get it down to the methodology that we have today. In 2019, we grew our team quite a lot, because I decided to step back from client work and focus more on the role of a CEO whilst starting my new business Christine Means Business, business consulting, and coaching. Everything worked fantastically.
We had an amazing team, we had our methodology down, but I realized that I actually prefer my new business a lot more. So, I’ve decided to hand over the company to one of my team members and stay on as the founder if words of wisdom are needed.
