Episode 37: Don Stroud
Don Stroud is a living legend.  From Tick Tick Tick, To License to Kill, to everything in between, even Django Unchained Don has done it all.  Sit back and listen to the man himself tell you his amazing story Don was surfing at Waikiki when he was discovered. Actor Troy Donahue was filming Hawaiian Eye (1959) and needed a stunt double for his surfing scenes. At 18, 6' 2" and 175 pounds, Stroud stepped up and was hired on the spot. He decided to go to Hollywood to give it a try. Upon arriving in L.A., he landed a variety of jobs, including parking cars, bouncer and then manager of the world famous "Whiskey A Go-Go" nightclub on the Sunset Strip, where such greats as Janis Joplin, Jimi Hendrix and Jim Morrison of the "Doors" appeared. It was at the "Whiskey" that actor Sidney Poitier turned Don on to his acting career. He has appeared in more than 100 movies and 175 television shows to date. He starred in four television series, notably The New Mike Hammer (1984) and The New Gidget

Actor and Stuntman Tom Morga stops by to talk Friday the 13th part 5, Halloween 4, Chainsaw Massacre 2, and much much more.  Tom Has acted alongside all the greats.  Don't take my word for it.  Read his IMDB. Stuntman, stunt coordinator, and actor Thomas Alvin Morga was born in Burbank, California. While in college, Morga worked as a smoke jumper stationed in Missoula, Montana between 1969 and 1974. It was Tom's work as a smoke jumper that led to his first television appearance as himself in the documentary series Mutual of Omaha's Wild Kingdom (1963) in which he saved a wild buffalo herd from a forest fire. Morga first began performing stunts in films and TV shows in the mid-1970's. Among the notable actors who Tom has doubled for throughout his career are Jeff Goldblum, James Coburn, John Travolta, Leonard Nimoy, James Keach, Patrick Duffy, Jonathan Frakes, Tim Robbins, Robert Urich, Bruce Boxleitner, Keith Carradine, Harold Ramis, and Steve Railsback. Moreover, Morga has portrayed an eclectic array of different aliens as well as has doubled for an assortment of actors in various "Star Trek" movies and TV series.
