Matt is our new head designer here at Must Increase so we sit down with him to talk about his philosophy of design and how we can apply it to churches. When we think of top American brands such as Nike or McDonalds, what do these brands messaging have in common? Their position their products to add VALUE to your life. Whether it's a shoe that will keep your feed comfortable all day or a dollar sandwich that saves you money, both of those products adds value to your life by what it offers. Even if those brands had the greatest designs, they would not be as successful if they didn't market themselves in a way that adds value to your life. How can you apply this concept to your church?. Simply put, churches that have good designs and sharp media are a dime a dozen. They're everywhere. But do you know what is not everywhere, a church that markets themselves in such a way that offers value to someones life. If someone is in need of a good church, the church that looks good will not be enough to draw them in. What will draw them in is your church's message that tells them that your church is a place where they can build godly relationships, or help them with their addiction, or help their children grow spiritually because of the weekly kids programs offered by your church.
