This is a podcast for the students, alumni, staff, and community members of the University of Washington. We will be talking about all the things that our center does and is working on as well as bringing in guests that can share their past experiences and their current work.

In this episode we are going to be talking to Lindsay Smith, our Handshake Experience Manager, about her career path and how she found her way into the Career and Internship Center as well as all of the things you can do and access with Handshake as well as some big things that you might not have known about from the person who oversees the platform for UW.
In this episode we will be talking about Internship with our Internship specialist on staff, Dan Herb. We will start out learning a bit about Dan's background and how he got to be with us at the Career and Internship Center and then we will dive into what the big things to know about applying and working an internship for students and alumni but also what makes a great place for an internship that employers could implement in their practices.
In this episode we will be introducing our podcast as well as meeting with Kaeline Kine, our most front facing staff member, to talk about what the Career and Internship Center is and does as well as how we are responding to our current world to continue to provide services and assistance to the students, alumni, staff, employers, and community members that engage with us.
