Dr. Clay Jones is an associate professor of Christian apologetics at Talbot School of Theology and the chairman of the board for Ratio Christi, an international university apologetics ministry. Previously he hosted the nationally syndicated talk radio program "Contend for Truth". He's the author of Why Does God Allow Evil?: Compelling Answers for Life's Toughest Questions and most recently, Immortal: How the Fear of Death Drives Us and What We Can Do about It.
In this interview we discuss his latest book Immortal. Dr. Jones explains how our fear of death drives us towards both productive and unproductive behavior. We also discuss the attempts made by both the religious and the skeptical to reconcile life's meaning with the harsh reality of death. He wrote the Ambassadors Guide to Mormonism, was an associate editor for the Apologetics Study Bible for Students and co-authored A Practical Guide to Culture: Helping the Next Generation Navigate Today’s World. He received his Master’s degree in philosophy of religion and ethics from Talbot School of Theology. Brett lives with his wife and kids in Southern California.

Gospel Accuracy and Reliability with Dr. Lydia McGrew
Dr. Lydia McGrew received her PhD in English from Vanderbilt University. She has published extensively in analytic philosophy, specializing in probability theory and epistemology. She also focuses on the application of formal epistemology to topics in the philosophy of religion. With Timothy McGrew, she co-wrote the article on the resurrection of Jesus for the Blackwell Companion to Natural Theology, and she wrote the article on historical inquiry for the Routledge Companion to Theism.
In this interview Lydia shares research from her newest book, The Mirror or the Mask: Liberating the Gospels from Literary Devices. Lydia makes the case for New Testament accuracy and reliability. She also addresses several of the alleged contradictions within the Gospel accounts.
