Episode 2: Pizza
In our second episode, we're talking all about..pizza!
We speak to Dr. Alexander Lee, a specialist in the cultural and political history of the Renaissance in Italy, who knows a great deal about the history of this doughy dish, and Giovanni Salamone, the owner of the Lonodon-based Olivelli restaurant chain. Their original Store St location, which Salamone bought in 1993, is said to be the first place where pizza may have been sold in London back when it originally opened with different Italian owners in 1934.
We hope you're hungry...
