Back OUCHY? maybe do this

Back OUCHY? maybe do this

For my friend Jack

Special episode today guys. Not an interview.

I want to start providing you guys some more in-depth value rather than just the surface level that I can get into on instagram. (Alongside my regular podcast as well.)

Minimum one podcast a week from now on

Today I met Jack. His back is ouchy.

I am not a physio, chiropractor or doctor.

I am just a guy who has helped myself and many clients feel better in their own body.

Jack unfortunately hasn't been able to be seen or treated by any doctor yet.

Here is the words I would share with someone in Jack's position.

P.S very sorry for the strange language use - trying not to cross any lines, say things I'm not allowed to say or get cancelled

@everydayrunnermitch

I was at Lululemon's Movember running event where I had just proudly completed 10km. Then I bumped into a guy who had just done 60km and honestly didn't seem all that puffed.

That was Mitch.

I found him on insta later that day and saw that he had been running everyday for over two and half years.

Why the hell would someone do that?

I knew that I wanted to find out and I knew that anyone with that kind of dedication must have something to teach us all.

So dive in & prepare to learn HEAPS

#5 - Cole Davey

Cole is a Personal Trainer and Wellness Coach, that is dedicated to helping others improve their mental, physical and spiritual health so they can regain control over their lives and become their greatest version of themself.

6 years ago Cole hit his lowest point. Suffering from depression, he was barely eating and would spend ALL of his time wallowing in self-pity and sadness.
Then late one night, he was wondering “why am I even alive”, and

"is this all I’m ever going to do with my life?"

When all of a sudden everything went quiet… and a profound sense of clarity came over him– his mind began to fill with optimistic thoughts like, “this is it, this is where the journey to becoming my greatest version begins”.

In this moment, he realized that whilst he was only 19yrs of age, he had forgotten about all the accomplishments he had achieved so far and that he had the potential to accomplish so much more!
This profound inner-experience was the turning point - he decided to regain control over his life and focused on diving deep into fitness, nutrition and spirituality, and he’s now spent the last 6 years, learning from experts and diving into the secrets behind living a healthy, high performance lifestyle.

Everyday now Cole acts with direction and relentless drive towards success in his life.

A perfect example of going from apathy & despair to purpose and passion, this conversation with Cole is full of many relatable highs & lows in a journey of discovering what the point of this experience we call life really is.

This conversation really left me speechless.

If you're going through something terrible at the moment: LISTEN UP

Because this is the story of a girl who went through some pretty outrageous lows and made it out the other side into some beautiful highs.

Tegan is a community foundations lead for Lululemon New Zealand and Hypelord at MegaRun Auckland.

If you've ever met her you know she is an incredible, bubbly person who is joyful to be around. So to hear the story of where she came from to get to this point really shocked me.

If you need inspiration,

If you need hope in your lowest moment,

Or if you just want a damn interesting story to listen to then this episode is for you.

Thank you for being you Tegan.

The Climb That Hill podcast is about helping self-development focused people realise their next step of achievement through interviewing inspirational role-models.

#2 Layken Speedy

#2 Layken Speedy

Layken is a Pilates instructor and former women’s wellness coach.

Much more complex and vast than that, it’s hard to put Layken’s approach and work into words. Which is actually the best way to describe it because Layken is all about helping others look at their health holistically. The whole package approach.

Help is never harmful. If you think you’re helping yourself in one way, but that help is actually harmful to another area of your life then you’re not really helping yourself.

Happiness is a state of being that you choose and Layken has been working with people for over a decade to help them uncover that internal capacity they’ve always had to heal themself.

Currently in the next stage of her journey, Layken is taking some of her own advice that she preached as a women’s Burnout & fatigue coach and is now taking some time to take care of and nurture herself while she continues to teach Pilates.

Layken has coached herself and clients through many mental & physical life challenges. The abundance of wisdom Layken has picked up along way really comes out in this discussion and her words on unlocking the self-healing and self-guiding power within are sure to help anyone struggling from chronic pain, a lack of self-direction or unforgiving & unhelpful, harsh self-talk

Enjoy

#1 Tyler Lewis

Woooo!

Tyler has changed my life massively and I know his inspiration could do the same for you to!

As the leader of Megarun Auckland, Tyler wakes up early every single Sunday morning and fires up a crew of like-minded runners to go out and push themself in a 2-10km run.

I was shocked by the set-backs that Tyler has already overcome in his life and the incredible work he has been putting in for years to become the man that he is today.

Tyler is truly someone who lives with passion & purpose and I hope his intensity might bring the same fire your life too!
