Searching For Ndaya

By Cynthia Malambi
My name is Ndaya Cynthia but for the past 23 years, I've been living life as only Cynthia. For the past couple of years, I've been trying to define who I am. I found out in order to make sense of my being, I needed to claim my birth name, Ndaya, and to know who Ndaya is, I needed to reflect on my life's journey as Cynthia. This podcast invites my listeners to my journey of self-discoveries. I share intimate and personal experiences from my childhood in a refugee camp to doing my master's in Belgium as a Fulbright grantee.
