Lone has an extensive executive experience ranging from large-cap companies in aviation, biotech, retail, automotive, oil & gas, and shipping to banks and capital markets, and she is also co-founder of the bank-fintech company Cashworks, Vice Chairman of Volvo Cars, and a Director at IKEA. She spent 22 years at A.P. Moller-Maersk — the world’s largest shipping company — serving as Senior Vice President and founding Maersk Procurement and Star Air. In 2005, she was appointed President of Wallenius Lines, a leading provider of global factory-to-dealer transport solutions and terminal facilities for the automotive industry. Lone holds an MSc in Business Administration and Economics from Copenhagen Business School and a Master in Law (LLM) from the University of Copenhagen and Blockchain Technologies program from the MIT Sloan School of Management.

In this episode we talked about the regulatory environment of the DeFi where Lone shared a very positive outlook on how the regulatory process will play out and what the outcome will be, while she believes that the future of DeFi is fully regulated. We also outlines the societal benefits of DeFi and what opportunities it presents to everyone and why there are a lot of reasons to be excited about the future of this technology.

In our today's talk, we discussed social tokens and the future of content creation and online communities. Stephanie gave a very detailed overview of how social tokens work, how are they different from the NFTs and how creators should approach this new era of the internet. We also covered some practical steps that creators can take to build their own digital economy.

Nancy Beaton is the Vice-President of Strategy at Together Labs, the technology parent company behind the leading friend discovery metaverse and social app IMVU and VCOIN, an ERC-20 token, built on Ethereum. Nancy currently leads efforts to turn the economy of IMVU, one of the largest virtual 3D worlds, into the next generation of market exchange through blockchain technology and VCOIN, which lets all users hold, earn and exit the platform with real value.

In this episode we dived into the meaning of mixed realities and how blockchain technology can be applied to power totally new economies within the Metaverse. We talked about the importance that NFTs play acting as the economic layer of Metaverses and allowing them to evolve into scalable economies. Finally, Nancy shared her thoughts and tips on how to feel less uncomfortable with the concept of Metaverses and get involved.

Raina recruited hundreds of early beta signups, users, and new customers for Gilded. She has facilitated partnerships and she recruited advisory board members from her top notch network. Raina became a crypto convert after she was given $5 of Bitcoin on a first date in 2016. Her interest in crypto products is focused on those that solve real-world business challenges. She’s involved in various women in blockchain events, groups, and a meetup for women in crypto accounting - where she shares her unique story and educates those curious about the power of cryptocurrency.

In the first part of our talk we discussed the power of crypto and what the past year has taught us including the volatility of crypto, and in the second part of our talk we discussed the challenges that blockchain business face when it comes to accounting and how Gilded project helps companies to transact in crypto.

Amelia began her career working in the FinTech sector from 2014 after writing her thesis on Bitcoin technology. Previously she has been an author for Cointelegraph and CMO at Eido. She is now the co-founder and CEO of The Cryptonomist, one of the globally renowned online information sites. 

In our talk with Amelia we spoke about what it takes to run a media outlet in a fairly saturated market and how the consumption of crypto media across different markets has been evolving in the recent years.

Amelia also shared her views on the challenges that crypto is facing and shared a few tips on how to start your own business or make a career transition.

With over ten years of fin-tech experience under her belt, Maia Naor—Vice President of Product for INX—has been at the forefront of INX since it was founded three years ago. From 2010 until July 2017, she served as Vice President of Product at a leading European regulated trading group where she oversaw the planning, implementation and launch of several web-based and mobile trading applications offering financial services. Maia also gained experience in building and training teams of data scientists that supported the growth and optimization of the trading products.  Ms. Naor is a graduate of the Tel Aviv University School of Economics and the Tel Aviv University School of Mathematical Sciences, with honors.

In our today's conversation, we talked about Security Tokens as the new asset class with the emphasis on how security tokens have evolved as well as what the future holds. We then spend some time discussing Product Management in Blockchain where Maia shared some great tips and insights from her experience being in product for so many years.

Irina is the Head Ambassador for Western Europe at Polkadot and Kusama Networks, she is also the  London’s Regional Co-Chair to FIBREE (Foundation for International Blockchain and Real Estate Expertise), and Recently, Irina also co-founded Design B2C, a crypto fintech boutique advisory with focus on DeFi, Web 3.0 services, NFT’s, and real estate tokenization.

Irina began her career as an architect and worked on the award-winning Piano di Governo del Territorio (Land Management Plan) at Comune di Desio, Italy, and. She was a contributor to the research for the book Trans Eurasian development corridor “Razvitie” and has experience as an Architect at Michele Arcarese Architetto (MAA), and an Architect at Regional Institute of Regional & Town Planning Design, Rostov-on-Don, Russia.

Irina is a strategic thinker who focuses on Blockchain technology implementations for business, she advises real estate companies, family offices, fintech companies and runs lectures and workshops for universities and private clients.

In this episode we covered the basics of Polkadot project, and then we took a deep dive on NFTs, what they are, what they are used for as well as the current challenges that NFTs face. We also discussed some interesting future applications of NFTs and focused specifically on real estate and some exciting developments within that area.

In our talk today, we discussed how to develop a career in blockchain, where Lavinia shared her journey into the industry with a lot of interesting detail. We also talked about financial inclusion, what it means and how it works. Finally, we concluded with a short talk on financial literacy where Lavinia shared great info and practical tips on how to improve one’s relationship with money and build financial literacy.

Eleni is Head of Strategy and Operations at bloXroute Labs which solves the scalability bottleneck at layer-0. Prior to bloXroute, Eleni received her MBA at Yale where her studies focused on entrepreneurship and FinTech. Prior to that, she worked at the U.S. Export-Import Bank, first as a Presidential Management Fellow and then as the Budget Director. Eleni also completed brief details at the State Department and White House.

In this episode, we talked about scaling blockchains and why scalability is a networking problem. Eleni offered a unique perspective on the solution and described how this problem is solved by bloXroute's blockchain distribution network. We also talked about DeFi trading  and how DeFi traders can take advantage of bloXroute's fast network.

Sam Shrager is the Head of Marketing at BCB group, which is the leading crypto-dedicated payment services provider, serving some of the industry’s largest clients including Bitstamp, Coinbase, Galaxy and Kraken.

Previously, Sam was part of the NKB Group that operates as a full-service investment bank focused on blockchain technology where Sam’s role was to build the  profile and community for the main NKB brand.

Given Sam’s extensive experience as a marketer, in our today's talk we focused on digital marketing in the blockchain era. We spoke about what is changing in traditional digital advertising and what are the benefits that the blockchain technology could bring to advertising. We also touched on innovative projects that are aiming to evolve the space of digital marketing.

Thessy is the Co-founder of Consensys project Liquality.io. Liquality recently released an atomic swap enabled wallet that enables exchange of cryptocurrency across Bitcoin and Ethereum  blockchains without a middle man or registration.

Thessy also founded ‘Women in Blockchain’, a global community governed by common principles to be a catalyst for women defining the blockchain space.

Previously, Thessy was Vice President of Product Strategy at JPMorgan’s investment bank, worked with Occupy’s Alternative Banking Group, and co-created a scientific peer-reviews system.

She is a multi-national who embraces the global culture of New York City.

In our today's talk we will hear Thessy sharing her  journey into creating Liquality, and what was driving her and her team . We also talked about  Blockchain for social good and touched on the basic human rights and where blockchain makes sense as a technology.

Isa is the Head of Marketing at Aave, an open source and non-custodial money market protocol to earn interest on deposits and borrow assets. She was studying Public Policy when she became interested in blockchain as a solution for social policy issues, and she later discovered Decentralized Finance and how blockchain can be used to build an open and equitable financial ecosystem. Isa previously co-founded a project that leveraged blockchain capabilities to authenticate and trade limited edition streetwear.

In our talks with Isa, we discussed the lending and borrowing processes within De-fi, who can get access to it, and how to approach choosing the right service within the space. We also discussed decentralisation as a whole, its advantages and disadvantages. We then reflected on the importance of marketing within the De-Fi space, where Isa shared some tips and common practices from her experience of marketing a De-Fi project. We concluded discussing  the purposeful work within Blockchain where Isa shared her tips on finding your own purpose within the space.

Quynh Tran is the Chief Product Officer at CryptoCompare. In this episode, Quynh shared with us her story about discovering and transitioning into blockchain from traditional banking. We then focused our conversation on data and talked about the difference between crypto and traditional financial market data. We discussed data integrity and the role that market data services play in growing this sector, making it more reliable and robust. Quynh has also shared some details around how a market data service works under the hood with examples of CryptoCompare’s API product.

Yael is a financial strategist, speaker, advisor, and mentor with over a decade of experience. She is a regional co-chair at FIBREE, the Foundation for International Blockchain and Real Estate Expertise. She is currently a CMO and Partner at SolidBlock, a new fundraising vehicle, offering a compliant global platform for the issuance and trade of digital securities backed by real estate & other assets.

In our talk we discussed the tokenization processes with an emphasis on real estate tokenization. We spoke about the main advantages that tokenization can bring. Yael shared the step by step process of tokenizing a real estate asset, highlighted the key challenges associated with it, and gave examples of how they overcome those challenges at SolidBlock.

Towards the end, we touched on education in Blockchain, where Yael shared her view on what education should be focusing on and why we don't need to understand exactly how Blockchain works in order to enjoy the benefits of this technology. Finally, we reflected on the changes that Covid-19 posed on our societies, and as for the future of tokenization, Yael predicted that: “in the next 2 years the world will figure out how to provide liquidity”.

In todays episode, we discussed the Blockchain space as a viable career choice and how it could be a sustainable source of income. We touched on the most profound barriers to entry for women in technology sectors in general. We also reviewed the main impact that Blockchain is making on societies and we concluded with Jillian's practical tips on how to overcome the common challenges that many women face, build their online presence in Blockchain and successfully transition into the space.

Maria Magenes started her marketing career for a TV and Media broadcast where she spent 4 year, after which she decided to take the challenge and move into the Blockchain advertising space. She started off as a Head of Marketing for a Decentralised Finance startup called Aave after which she has joined the Maker DAO, where she is currently leading the Europe Community.

In our talk with Maria, we discussed the importance of community building and the role that it plays in the adoption and growth of a product.

Nikita has a unique set of skills and accomplishments - she is an entrepreneur, a model and a crypto enthusiast. She is the co-founder of a talent management agency, Luna Management and the Head of Business Development at Alpha5, a smart Crypto Derivatives Exchange. Her broad product background and her public exposure led her to work with over 40 companies in the Blockchain space as a spokesperson or ambassador. She frequently speaks at conferences and events, including Oxford University, World Blockchain Summit, Cryptovest and many more. She has worked closely with notable names in the space, such as Huobi and Pimlico Partners where she was driving key networking and M&A.

In our talk we discussed the ins and outs of go-to-market strategies for crypto projects, including the key challenges of marketing strategies as well as the main things to be aware of when planning a marketing strategy.

We then talked about crypto derivatives exchanges, discussed some basics for those who might be new to the concept, we then touched on the responsibilities of those exchanges and concluded with some tips from Nikita on how to approach choosing an exchange.

Towards the end we discussed inclusivity and diversity and heard Nikita's advice on how to transition into the Blockchain space.
