John Bianchi and his cousin, Elizabeth Philipson were attacked walking down lover's lane on January 26th, 1919. John was innocently escorting his cousin to work at a nearby hospital when a man with a gun killed him, seemingly without reason. It's been a hundred years and still, nothing makes sense.

Elizabeth Short was in Las Angeles in 1947 with one thing on her mind: Fame. She wanted to be a movie star, she wanted to be famous, and she wanted to be loved. A devoted mom, wife, daughter, and grandmother goes missing after filing for divorce from her husband. Their marriage seems perfect on the outside but was it really? Cheryl Coker disappeared in October of 2018 under mysterious circumstances and her case was cold until spring of 2020 when skeletal remains were found in the woods. With WWII raging across Europe, local boys discover a woman's skeletal remains stuffed inside of a hollow wych elm. They pledge not to say anything but one cracks under the pressure and confesses to his parents. Police aren't sure if it's satanic or espionage-related and no one knows who she is. 3 years later, a graffiti artist dubs the woman "Bella" and now she's known worldwide but yet, she remains unidentified. 

Was she a witch? A sacrifice? A Nazi spy? 

The Dyatlov Pass Incident . . . A freak accident or a creature hunting in the snow? Why were two of the men radioactive? Have you seen the horror movie based on this story? 

1932, Sweden. Lilly, a call girl, is found murdered in her bed, condom hanging out of her rear, with almost no blood in her body. Was she killed by a vampire? Police feared so. ⁠

In 2005 Natalee Holloway graduated from high school in Alabama and decided to go on a school trip to Aruba to celebrate. Little did she know, that her last night on the island may have been her last night on earth. The main suspect, a man who has given dozens of accounts of what happened that night, and was even convicted of murder, 5 years to the day of Natalee's disappearance.

14-year-old Carolyn Wasilewski ran with a gang back in 1954, she was a drape, and fit in with the older crowd. One night, she disappeared with curlers still in her hair, only to be found murdered the next morning. Could her testimony against a r*pist the week before have lead to her death? Between 1974&1975, the gay community of San Francisco, California was full of terror. 5 murdered and 3 assaulted by the same man, who was targeting white, gay men at nightclubs, bars, and restaurants where he would draw patrons on napkins to get their attention.  Police believed that they already had the right man in custody but couldn't prosecute because the surviving victims were afraid to testify for fear of being outed. Two sketches of the suspect exist, both of which will be posted on my Instagram with the case notes @ColdCaseStudy

Between 1971 & 1973, 3 girls from poor, Catholic families were murdered in Rochester, York. Possibly connected to the Hillside Stranglers or a man who purchased a hamburger with onions for a crying little girl. We discuss the Garage R*pist and the California Alphabet Murderer, as well as the possibility that the Rochester Alphabet Murderer isn't a serial killer at all . . .

3 years ago Abigail Williams (13) and Liberty German (14) went for a hike on the Historic Trails of Delphi, Indiana. The next day, their bodies were found. Audio and video of a suspect following the girls were found on Liberty's phone after her death, he has yet to be identified. Between 1971 and 1972, 6 young African American girls were raped and murdered in the DC area. The initial investigation went nowhere and when the case was reopened, it was discovered that all of the original case files and evidence had been lost. The "Freeyway Phantom" has never been identified and justice has yet to be served.

One Sunday evening, three families put their daughters on a bus towards Camp Scott for a week of fun with the Girl Scouts. It would be the last time they saw them alive. In one night, three little girls, between 8 & 10, would be brutalized and murdered. Their killer(s?) have never been identified (or have they?).

Also known as America's Unknown Child, the Boy in the Box was found in 1957, naked, beaten to death, and abandoned in a box on the side of Susquehanna Rd in Philadelphia, PA. It has been 63 years and despite being entered into the Center for Missing and Exploited Children database and the continuous efforts by police, his case remains unsolved.
