Finding Joy in the Holiday Season post Restoration
I am so excited to share with you today some of the ways I have found joy in the holidays post restoration. Prior to my Restoration Experience and before I decided to live my life for Jesus I was caught up in the idea that Christmas had to be a certain way and I spent many years, mad about Christmas. But the past few years and especially this year I have decided to look at Christmas from a different perspective! Slowing down, keeping it simple, inviting in my "family" and remembering the real reason we celebrate Christmas!

She's an Overcomer
Amy is the best friend and big sister you need in your life.As a Wife, Mom to 3 boys, and dance fitness instructor she used to wonder if there was more to life than just sleepwalking through one day and into the next; so busy she didn't even notice where she was going. After enduring multiple traumas, Amy began searching for something more. She found a passion for inspiring and empowering women and created the Worthy Heart blog, believing that everyone is worthy of love.
Amy continued searching and learning and developed a four-step process to live The GOOD Life; focusing on God, Ourselves, Others, and Divine Happenings; which became the recently released The GOOD Life Journal. She firmly believes that by incorporating these four steps in our daily lives, everyone can have The GOOD Life and walk out their unique purpose boldly and confidently.
Amy's Verses:
Jeremiah 29:11
2 Corinthians 12:9-11

Finding restoration from a life of shame
Theresa Boedeker is likes to tell stories, write, and laugh, but not necessarily in that order. She has learned that God doesn't condemn us, but convicts and loves us. Mistakes, sins, and our past are used to restore us and others. She is passionate about encouraging women in their walk with God to stop believing lies, gain freedom from shame, learn their worth, how much God loves them, and not fear making mistakes. She enjoys people, flowers, being outside, and doing creative things.
She blogs at TheresaBoedeker.com where she reminds women to remember the truth about themselves, their lives, and God's grace.

What I know about Grace
This week I am taking a pause from sharing stories and digging a little bit deeper in the word Grace. What does Grace mean? How have I seen Grace in my own life and even a challenge for YOU to stop and see the Grace in your own life!
Verses:
2 Corinthians 5:17: Therefore if anyone is in Christ, he is a new creation the old has passed and the see the new has come. (CSB)
Ephesians 2:8-9: For you are saved by Grace through faith and this is not from yourselves; it is God's gift-not from workd so that no one can boast.
2 Corinthians 12:9: My grace is sufficient for you- my strength is made perfect in weakness.
"Grace is the beauty of form under the influence of freedom." Freidrich Schiller, German Philsopher.

Finding Freedom in Forgiveness
Today's guest Sara Wahlstrom had to learn how to forgive her parents after their divorce, her restoration experience included learning how to love her stepmother, forgive her parents and how to be her own person outside of her mom. Through lots of hard work in counseling, a relationship with Jesus and friends who hold her accountable she's walking into the Freedom, Grace, Redemption and Victory that God has for her.
Sara's story is a reminder that we all have healing to do, and that even what the world may see as something small it's big in our lives. She's working hard to shed the shame and continuing to run boldly into her calling from the Lord.
Hebrews 13:8 Jesus Christ is the same yesterday and today and forever.

What I know about Freedom
***BONUS*** I thought as a little surprise for launch week I'd throw in a little bonus episode about what I've learned about Freedom! I can't wait to dig even deeper into Freedom in upcoming episodes!
Scripture References:
2 Corinthians 3:17 (CSB) Now the Lord is the Spirit, and where the Spirit of the Lord is there is freedom.
John 8:31-36, “Then Jesus said to the Jews who had believed him, If you continue in my word, you really are my disciples. You will know the truth and the truth will set you free. We are descendants of Abraham, they answered him, and we have never been enslaved to anyone. How can you say, ‘You will become free?’ Jesus responded, ‘Truly I tell you, everyone who commits sin is a slave of sin.’ A slave does not remain in the household forever, but a son does remain forever. So if the Son sets you free, you really will be free.”
John 15:4-5, “Remain in me, and I in you. Just as a branch is unable to produce fruit by itself unless it remains on the vine, neither can you unless you remain in me. I am the vine; you are the branches. The one who remains in me and I in him produces much fruit, because you can do nothing without me."
John Piper Quote: “Hour by hour abiding in Jesus means hour by hour trusting Him to meet all your needs and be all our treasure.”
