Hey Mom, Tell Me About High School
The long awaited return of Collins Catholicity. Hannah brings her mother on the show to discuss what going to Catholic High School was like in the olden days so she can compare it with her experience along with the reasons why her mother and father made the decision to send both she and her brother to Catholic School.
Growing up as a Catholic Military Kid
Reece asks Hannah and Luke questions about growing up as Catholic military kids. Some of the questions asked are:
- What are some of the things that make being a Catholic military kid fun or good?
- What challenges have you had?
- When I was growing up we only went to one Church but you have had the pleasure of experiencing the sacrifice of the Holy Mass in multiple churches. Which is your favorite and why?
- We even went to a couple of protestant churches before (an episcopal and a non-denominational (fallen episcopal) church. What were your thoughts on those?
- We have moved a few times, what has been your experience with that?
- We have an upcoming move and what are you looking forward to and what will you miss from here?
Hannah Started Veiling at Mass
Hannah started veiling at mass a couple months ago and in this episode we explore some of her discernment process, a little of the history of veiling, what the colors mean, and more.
Q&A Time
Hannah asks Reece questions from Epic Pew. The questions asked are...
- What’s your favorite Catholic podcast or YouTube channel?
- Do you have a favorite type of church architecture?
- What book has influenced your spiritual life the most?
- If you could go anywhere on pilgrimage, where would you go?
- Who was your confirmation saint and why did you pick him or her?
- If you could only read one book of the Bible for the rest of your life, what would it be?
- What’s your opinion on cry rooms in churches?
- Do you have a favorite religious order?
- If you had to pick between C.S. Lewis or J.R.R. Tolkien, who would you pick and why?
- If you could be the patron saint of anything, what would it be?
Reviewing Reece's Liked Songs
Hannah takes control of my Spotify and selects songs off my Liked Songs Library. This has been one of the most fun episodes we have done to date and I hope everyone enjoys (and I didn't break any copyright laws).
