Kindness in Action - Community ISD Podcast

In the premiere episode of Kindness in Action, Dr. Roosevelt Nivens visits with the Cartwright family. When Colton was diagnosed with cancer, parents and teachers in the Community ISD rallied around them.

Dr. Roosevelt Nivens was appointed to serve as the 11th Superintendent of Schools for Community Independent School District on July 28, 2015. The Langston, Oklahoma, native is the son of two life-long educators, Roosevelt Sr. and Barbara Nivens, who combined to serve almost 90 years in public education.
