Confessions Of A Lady

I always talk about being bold, transparent, and authentic; but after spending some time reflecting, I realized that I haven't totally embodied all of those things. I constantly record my thoughts in an effort to capture them at the moment, but I have negated to share the recordings because I have not found the time to edit the audio and "transform" it into something "shareable". I realize now that it is my raw authenticity that I wish to present to the world, not my edited representations. So with that being said, I present to you the true Confessions of a Lady. These are pieces of me: real, raw, unedited, unadulterated, and unapologetic. 

Linear Eclipse

"Life is not designed to be linear," yet we seem to be thrown off when we experience the turbulence and winds of everyday situations. Linear Eclipse is a poetic expression that connects the winds and storms of nature to the highs and lows of life. 

Remember the Music

 (a poetic expression) was penned by Lady O during a time when a friend was experiencing a dark depression.  The poetic piece was written to inspire individuals to search for a melody and to remember the music even though their hearts may at the time be void of a song.

 I Was Given Your Voice 

This literary piece is an expression of what it feels like to understand the hidden thoughts and emotions of people who are unable to articulate their pain and emotions through words.  "I was given your voice" is an empathic message that connects listeners to the idea that there are other people in the universe who are able to connect with their deeper emotional side. 

Lost and Found 

a poetic expression written by Lady O expresses what it means to lose the layers of false identity that one has been clothed in, and finally finding liberation in living a life of truth and authenticity. 

I am Centered

a poetic expression about the sacred space that is found at the core of our existence.  It is a beautiful illustration of what it feels like to totally embody the essence of who you really are.  

We Are Free 

Reading of anonymous writing. This ancient blessing deals with forgiveness, detachment, and liberation and was originally created in the Nahuatl language spoken in Mexico. *I do not own the rights to this piece. These are not my original words.*

A poem that illustrates the dark and light sides of loving someone through joy and pain. 

I Missed the Adjustment

 This is a heartfelt expression of a time in a person's relationship with another being when they realize that some adjustments, although painful, must be made.  It illustrates one person's ability to move on, during a time when the other struggles to let go.

So with that being said, I present to you the true Confessions of a Lady. These are fragments of me: real, raw, unedited, unadulterated, and unapologetic. In this episode, listeners will hear some of my thoughts "In the Present". As I grow and evolve into my higher self, I realize more and more the profoundness of my "in the moment" thoughts. In my present thoughts are where I find many epiphanies and "ah-ha" moments within my everyday life experiences. Many of the thoughts in this episode were captured on the shore of Jacksonville Beach, Florida. It is something soothing about the ocean that sanctifies my creative flow. I hope you enjoy.
