It Takes Three Villages (Special Episode)
Man and Moon by Siena Marilyn Ledger runs October 21-November 13, 2022 at the Madison Street Theater in Oak Park, Illinois. This production is a collaboration between 16th Street Theater NFP, Dragonfly Theatre Company and Chicago Dramatists. This special episode features the creative team -- or "villages" -- who united to bring this beautiful play to life. Hear Connie Kuntz interview the playwright as well as director Hayley Procacci, actors Peter Wilde and Clare Wols, microbiologist Heather Minges Wols, Chicago Dramatists own artistic director Carson Becker, 16th Street Theater NFP's interim artistic director Jean Gottlieb and Dragonfly Theatre Company's co-artistic Director Omar Fernandez. Get to know these artists and theatre companies, their backgrounds, their missions and a little bit about what it takes to "put on a show."

Schann Stewart is a comedy jazz artist from Freeport. She moved to northern Illinois from Nebraska in 2020. Find out why and learn a little bit about her background and her hopes for the future. Then, come see her perform live at the Rockford Fringe Festival on Saturday, July 9, 2022 from Noon to 6:00 p.m. in Rockford's Walker Park; 1500 Myott Avenue. The Fringe will take place rain or shine so consider wearing sunscreen, a hat or bringing an umbrella. This is a free event and is open to the public. Bring a lawn chair or blanket for sitting. Pack a picnic, snacks, water. The #RockfordFringe is an environmentally friendly event so if you pack it in, be sure to pack it out. We don't want to leave the park with even a hint of litter.
