Consciously Designing Medical Spaces for Every User

Consciously Designing Medical Spaces for Every User

Welcome back to another episode of Conscious Design and today Ian welcomes Carolyn, who kicks off with a little backstory about herself, the company and her role in the company today. Carolyn and Ian both develop on the idea of communication and how even non-verbal signs can tell a story to the customer or guest that represent the company or business in a certain light and effectively narrate the need to the receiving end. Carolyn then explains how she and her company are able to help somebody who is just starting out and does not have much in terms of physical locations or spaces and how much does that matter in the overall process. Carolyn then describes how the different users of a space all impact how you design and layout the physical space everyone is in, and who those users could be. Carolyn then elaborates more about how the final user is the most important part of the thinking process when suggesting a solution. In the end, Carolyn shares some final remarks and invites people to see the work they’ve done and reach out if they have any questions.

About Cleancult:

One day, during a particularly powerful spin cycle, their co-founder Ryan, noticed there were no recognizable ingredients listed on his bottle of detergent. Intrigued, he did some digging and was shocked to learn of all the artificial chemicals in conventional cleaners, natural alternatives weren’t much better either, with their toxic plastic packaging, indecipherable ingredients and weak results.

It was time for an intervention – an effective cleaning system without dirty secrets. And so, Cleancult was born.
