Animals CQ Emily has never heard of - and neither have you, probably.
This week CQ Emily requested that we all try to come up with animals she has never heard of and present them. Learning about animals is one of our favorite pastimes so we all happily obliged. Come on a journey with us as we learn about a new bug, bird, small mammal & primate!
Hibernaaaation
Ever watch that one Spongebob episode and wonder what actually is hibernation? Were you told as a child that hibernation is just when animals go to sleep for the entire winter? Well don't worry the Conservation Queens are here to clear up what exactly hibernation and torpor are! Join us as we discuss different animals who experience these scientific phenomena and what exactly happens during the process.

This week we take a look at "monogamy" in the animal kingdom, including some examples of true monogamy, and some ~squishier~ examples. Don't miss CQ Emily's rant about puffins, penguins and seahorses too!
