She spent 7 years giving back to the community working as a Group Home Counselor. While working, she had to opportunity to mentor a number of teen girls who were being sex trafficked. Meiko got inspired to create Hip Hop drama aimed at entertaining and educating young girls on some of the tactics used by Sex Traffickers to recruit them, in the hopes of saving a life in the process. Justin Michael Cornwell (born November 5, 1988) is an American actor best known for playing Kyle Craig in the CBS crime drama, Training Day, based on the 2001 film of the same name. Cornwell was born in Sharon, Pennsylvania to Sidney Cornwell and Robin Bodiford. However, he was primarily raised in Cleveland, Ohio and Louisville, Kentucky. At age 10, he relocated to with his mother and stepfather Jackie Herring (died 2008) where he fist showed an interest in the arts in middle school. He graduated from Eastern High where he participated in chorus and school plays. In addition, Justin was named as a premier student artist at the Muhammad Ali Center where some of his artwork still hangs today. He attended the University of Louisville where he continued studying acting. Cornwell relocated to Chicago in 2011 to pursue his acting career.

He toured with Whitney Houston for more than seven years and soloed in her single "I Will Always Love You", the best-selling single by a female artist in music history. Whalum has recorded a series of well received solo albums and film soundtracks, with music ranging from pop to R&B to smooth jazz. Kirk’s musical accomplishments have brought him a total of 12 Grammy nominations. He won his first Grammy award in 2011 for Best Gospel Song (“It’s What I Do”, featuring Lalah Hathaway) alongside lifelong friend and gifted writer, Jerry Peters.
