Sherri Somers

Sherri Somers

Sherri Somers is a revenue attraction coach. She had a 9 to 5, a family, and a dream that she was made for more. Sherri worked in law enforcement full-time and part of that came with helping ex-offenders find jobs and become business owners.

In 2016, Sherri was invited to the White House by President Obama (and Michelle) after gaining national recognition from that re-entry program helping those who were in need earn a living. However, she didn’t just stop with helping others make money as a part of my day job, she took what she knew and applied it to her own efforts.

While working her 9 to 5, she started a property preservation business that generated over $85K a year (as a side-hustle). It was a great revenue stream, but being a mom, before she felt comfortable enough to take the leap, she was all about creating stability in her home and making sure she was properly educated about what she was doing and had the right strategy to attract consistent and sustainable profits so she could enjoy the freedom as her own boss. Fast forward a bit, her son passed out in school from an asthma attack.

That was it for her!! She knew then that she needed to pursue my business ideas with urgency so she could be more present for her son NOW. In that moment, she took a leave of absence, worked on her coaching business idea she knew she had within her, and went from $0 to $12K in her coaching business in a matter of weeks, and haven’t returned to work her 9 to 5 ever since. Sherri got visible, using the 2k Revenue Attraction Factor Blueprint and built her business one client at a time. She took her business from $2,000 to $12,000 in a few weeks.

Sherri is a powerhouse and a force to be reckoned with.

Nafeesah R. Leverett

Nafeesah R. Leverett

Ephesians 4:29 states, "Do not let any unwholesome talk come out of your mouths, but only what is helpful for building others up according to their needs, that it may benefit those who listen." When stumbling across that scripture, Nafeesah had no idea what God was placing on her heart, but she knew it was going to be something big.

Nafeesah R. Leverett is a blogger, inspirational speaker, and Founder/CEO of Build Her Up, a Christian Lifestyle Blog designed to empower, encourage and support women through inspirational and spiritual content; while strengthening their relationship with God.

In 2017, after leaving an abusive relationship and battling with years of depression, Nafeesah contemplating suicide, but it was in her darkest hour that God showed her another way.
"One of the hardest things I ever had to do in life was surrender everything over to God. We are determined to be independent and not to rely on anyone, but it was when I was at my lowest point, I learned to ask for his help without feeling ashamed," says Nafeesah.

At the suggestion of her previous pastor, Nafeesah started therapy. It was at that moment where she realized that God was giving her exactly what she had been praying for, a FRESH START.
Her therapist challenged Nafeesah to write, and there she began to blog to herself about all of those dramatic moments in her life. After completing her first therapy assignment, her therapist challenged her to do one more thing, share her testimony with others, and she did just that.

After receiving many beautiful responses, Nafeesah was proud of herself and thought her healing was complete, but God had something bigger in store. One night stumbling across her bible, she came across this scripture. "Do not let any unwholesome talk come out of your mouths, but only what is helpful for building others up according to their needs, that it may benefit those who listen." - Ephesians 4:29 NIV And just like that, God showed Nafeesah the purpose for her life, and Build Her Up was created on July 27, 2017. Nafeesah states, "I believe that God's vision was for me to use my testimony to encourage, support, and uplift women because I know what it's like to be ripped of everything and built back up."

Since launching Build Her Up in 2017, Nafeesah has graduated with her Bachelor's Degree in Marketing and started her MBA program in Sept of 2020, where she is studying Marketing as well. She continues to share her testimony through speaking engagements and also started an apparel line that encourages women to be confident in who they are. Nafeesah also provides marketing services for small businesses, which include social media management and start-up websites.

Nafeesah is a mentor at her church, sings on the choir/praise team, and is also a praise dancer. Nafeesah shares her mission statement below: "THROUGH BUILD HER UP, I WILL BUILD TO ENCOURAGE WOMEN IN GOD'S TRUTH; I WILL BUILD TO SUPPORT WOMEN THROUGH SPIRITUAL AND INSPIRATIONAL CONTENT, AND I WILL BUILD TO EMPOWER WOMEN TO BE THE WOMEN OF GOD THAT HE HAS DESTINED THEM TO BE."

Nafeesah plans to continue to share her story with women and show them how God has made a difference in her life. Nafeesah states, "I vow to continue to BUILD Up others because I know what it's like to knockdown. God picked me up, and I will never stop letting people know that."

In 2019, Mark self-published the book, “GIVE A DAMN! – The Ticket to Cultural Change” (www.giveadamnbook.com).  A highly enjoyable, engaging and quick read, GIVE A DAMN discusses the challenges facing society and business, how we got to where we are today, what needs to be done, and how a GIVE A DAMN attitude can culturally make a difference, both professionally and personally.  Mark has identified nine areas that have contributed to our ego driven society and why it’s causing much pain across business and the world.   Mark’s goal is to create a “GIVE A DAMN!” movement, an initiative that will change business and the world and offers suggestions on what people can do to make a difference.  Give a Damn has made a big difference in company cultures and has helped develop a new happier attitude in organizational success.  He has appeared on several national radio shows promoting his movement, including the Frankie Boyer Show (Boston), the Ed Tyll Show (Starcom radio in New York City) and The Tom Barnard Show (92 KQRS in Minnesota).

Mark is a highly successful, energetic, thoughtful leader, entrepreneur and keynote speaker. His presentations provide for engaging and interesting stories, while also providing the motivation and insight to help businesses and individuals succeed at all levels.  Mark is a member of Entrepreneurial Organization (EO) of Louisiana and serves on the Board as Membership Chair.  Through his leadership, Mark helped EO of Louisiana become the fastest growing EO Chapter in the country.  In addition, EO of Louisiana received the Global Award for Excellence in Membership practices, which was awarded in Macau, China on April 14th, 2019.  Based on his leadership and success, in July of 2019, EO of Louisiana awarded Mark the “Marshall Klein Louisiana Entrepreneur of the Year” Award.

Jessie Coan

Jessie Coan

Jessie Coan is a strategic marketer who turns strategy into action. Nothing frustrates her more than having someone build a killer strategy and then have no idea how to execute it. That's the opposite of what she does. When people describe her, they say over and over "Jessie gets things done. She's a problem solver, no fear, figure it out marketer." Her marketing superpower is she turns problems (ie, not enough content, campaigns that aren't working, challenges with personalities on teams, failing go-to-market plans) into successes.

Over the past 15 years, she has had the privilege of supporting B2B organizations by building brands, developing innovative marketing strategies, and managing fully integrated marketing campaigns that generate profitable revenue. Her success is attributed to partnering with cross-functional teams by developing targeted customer acquisition plans that result in the achievement of sales goals and increased customer awareness. She is passionate about building and leading high-performing marketing teams across strategy design, creative, digital, web, content, analytics/research, and communications.

When she's not marketing, she's spending time with my favorite girl, Nellie (you can find her on Instagram @nelliestinks), or cooking up something tasty in the kitchen. She loves really bad movies and dad jokes. She attended Skidmore College and has a BS in Studio art. and a master's from Emerson College in Integrated Marketing Communications.

April Jackson-Hunter

April Jackson-Hunter

April Jackson-Hunter was born in March of 77, she currently lives in Georgia with her family. She received a Master of Art in Forensic Psychology from Argosy University and a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration from Herzing University. Her story isn’t different from anyone else’s, she took a portion of her life that wouldn’t be forgotten and harnessed it. After experiencing violence at the hands of someone who was supposed to love her, she battled fear, guilt, and shame until she couldn’t mentally handle it anymore. After seeking help for what she thought were mental instabilities, she received some game-changing advice. A counselor suggested that she start a journal in an attempt to help with reoccurring nightmares and insomnia issues. The journal she started transformed her into the author of her book which She entitled Mercedes’ Closet: Keeping Deadly Secrets. Mrs. Jackson-Hunter is also an advocate, whose passion is to assist victims of domestic/partner violence in the LGBTQ community. Her mission is to help victims of domestic/partner violence understand they are not alone. She feels everyone needs to feel as though there is someone in their corner during a dark time. For this reason, she founded Mercedes’ Closet which is a nonprofit geared to offering support and resources in the LGBTQ community for not only victims of domestic/partner violence but also victims of other violent crimes such as rape, hate crimes, as well as trans violence, which is due to officially launch in the mid of 2020.

Traci Neal

Traci Neal

Traci was born in March 1989 and grew up in Hopkins, SC. She began writing poetry at 14 because a teacher from Hopkins Middle School told the class they had to write a poetry book. She fell in love with poetry and saw it as an outlet from bullying and low-self esteem. Her passion for public speaking came later on in life. Ten years later, actually! Her multiple attempts at trying to become an elementary teacher and failing the Praxis Exam, made her feel like a total failure. But God had a different plan for her. Through spiritual guidance of character development at her church, Word of God Church and Ministries International with Bishop Eric W. Davis, she became a better woman of God. Now, she wants to share her life experiences with children, adolescents, and young adults that Jesus is the better option! She loves to tell people, "The world does not impress me!"
