Ep. 39 - Leading Your Child Through This Life - Part 2 of Ep 38

Previously never released - Recorded in 2022 and Part 2 of Ep 38 "Becoming your Childs Guru"

Brandon and Adam sit down to continue chatting about Adam’s revelations and insights from his first Ayahuasca ceremony since becoming a father. Still running on fumes from the ceremony weekend and taking on the roles of full-time dad, housekeeper, and business owner while his family prepares for their second child, Adam shares more of the tough-love lessons from Grandmother Ayahuasca, including the need to listen more, stop seeking validation from others, and stop trying to prove those same people wrong. Lots of ego shedding, humility, and deep lessons surrounded a rough night of purging all that doesn’t serve him as he takes on his most important role - leading his children through this life.
The guys discuss why they continue to seek validation from others in their artistic endeavors and why worrying about others’ opinions has prevented them from releasing their art into the world. They also discuss the importance of thinking twice before inviting someone into our family’s sacred container, the value of privacy, and what it truly means to put family first, especially as it pertains to growing your business and accumulating wealth. As a parent, is it more important to leave your children with a financial inheritance or with a purpose to carry forward in their lives?
The guys hit some deep moments when it comes to family in this episode, and throw in a tangent on a wild trip Adam once shared with a nuclear physicist in the desert under a colorful meteor shower.

You won’t want to miss this episode!
We hope you enjoy.

Ep. 38 - Becoming Your Child's Guru

Ep. 38 - Becoming Your Child's Guru

This is a post Ayahuasca ceremony episode from 2022; 2 months before Adams second baby son was born, the ceremony gave him major revelations about fatherhood and incredibly insightful ideas with guidance from the medicine of how to leave wealth in a meaningful and lasting way to your children.

We are releasing this now in a build up to a new story and new life that both Brandon and Adam are now facing. Many, many, major things have changed that we thought would never change. We are sorry we had to take down old podcasts for multiple legal reasons that are now past us, which we will explain in new podcasts. For now please enjoy these unreleased and re-released episodes as they are still full of love and wisdom for the mind and heart. We will be back with some life changing stories and explain how we have managed them, and come out better men overall. These are the documents of our medicine and human journey. Enjoy....

Written on 6/2/22-

After many years away from sitting with the Grandmother Medicine, Adam recounts his experiences and teachings from his first Ayahuasca Ceremony since becoming a family man, with an important lesson from the medicine: “As parents, we are our children’s guru.”
Adam and Brandon sit down at Adam’s home in Long Beach, CA, to share why it felt like Adam’s very first ceremony all over again and the important lessons he learned as he prepares to become a father of two. The guys discuss the importance of implementing self-control when an addictive personality shows up in our work lives, distracting us from what we truly need to face within ourselves. Adam has some harsh, but healing, revelations about learning to listen to his loved ones more, instead of letting the ego get in the way of hearing advice from the ones who know him best, and shares how the medicine opened his heart to reach out to family that had become estranged through the divisiveness our society has experienced these past two years.
We hope you enjoy part one of this podcast, as Adam and Brandon are reunited back in California once again!

Ep. 33 - Luke Wessman; A True Gentleman

Ep. 33 - Luke Wessman; A True Gentleman

In this episode Adam enjoys a great conversation with Luke Wessman. He has a fascinating life story; he’s a well established tattoo artist that was born on a hippie commune in rural Tennessee. We talk about many various topics from meditation, wild conspiracy theories, Kanye, “have to’s & get to’s, relationships, how to improve our romantic relationships, what it was like to work and appear on the show Miami Ink, as well as his intriguing road to becoming a high degree Freemason.

Lukes discusses his childhood experiences that are anything but normal— he came into the world the natural way (..in a tent) on a fully sustainable hippie commune with no running water or electricity, then moving and living a nomadic life up and down the coast of California. He discusses how he had a moment of embarrassment with his childhood background while eventually deciding to embrace his story which led him to learning the value of hard work.

His values and life experiences eventually moved him to start the community and brand called The Lost Art of the Gentleman; “Treat them like you don't have them forever,” is how Luke would advise men on the treatment of, not just romantic partners, but people in our lives that matter most to us..

Finally, Luke talks about his career as a tattoo artist, doing it for the love of the craft, the secret to being able to work with high-profile clients, working with people without a hidden agenda and just being a genuine person. We believe we can all learn something positive from Luke and this podcast proves it. Please let us, and him know your thoughts on IG, Telegram or with an Apple Podcasts review.

...episode #33 could not have had a more perfect guest and release date than 11/11 ✨ Enjoy.
