Rayshard Brooks was murdered by police in an Atlanta Wendy’s parking lot on June 12th sparking further national outrage & protests that were already in motion. Pinky Cole, CEO of Slutty Vegan, provided contributions to all four of Brooks’ children to college including housing and food. Her kindness caused a large backlash resulting in bigots attacking & leaving terrible reviews on the restaurants Facebook, Yelp and Google reviews. The black and vegan community responded with an overwhelming 18k+ positive reviews. Public figures such as Ludacris, La La Anthony, Gabrielle Union and a few others joined forces to buy out the restaurant for the entire day. Today, my sister and I are trying the food for the very first time!!
