1. Could you share more about your personal journey from being a abandoned and rejected kitten to becoming a fearless and confident lioness? I was abandoned at about the age of 2 and left in a dumpster at the side of the road. I must have screamed my lungs out to be rescued which I was and then I was immediately adopted by a very kind and affluent British couple. When my adoptive father died, my whole World fell apart. Quite literally, a shitdumpster was parked outside my door for 10 months. I suffered so many traumatic incidents back-to-back which sent me plummeting down a downard spiral to desperation and suicidal thoughts. Finally, I tried everything I could, from a practical point of view, and only got worse. After being prescribed very strong anti-depressants that made me lose control, I found the courage and sense within me to learn how to change my mindset so that I could help and heal myself. I transformed and revolutionised myself into a lioness.
2. As the founder of Unleash Your Lioness, what is your mission and how do you help women become fearless, strong, and confident lionesses? I help 1 BILLION female entrepreneurial kittens become fearless, strong and confident lionesses that they were born as and want to be again so that they can LIVE A LIFE BY DESIGN, NOT BY DEFAULT.
4. You mentioned helping women who suffer from Impostor Syndrome, anxiety, people-pleasing, depression, and various fears. Could you share some strategies or techniques you use to address these challenges and support their transformation? 1) Anxiety - you can use a Positive Intelligence method called Tactile. It involves you closing your eyes whilst you lightly rub your hands together and tickle your wrists.
2) Depression - Post-It notes are great!
6. In your experience, what are some common obstacles or roadblocks that women encounter when trying to embrace their fearless and confident selves? How do you help them overcome these obstacles?
Giving too much of themselves to others and forgetting to allocate time for themselves to practice self-love and self-care. I teach them to prioritise their needs so that they refill their cup often. The Dreaded Comfort Zone - not allowing themselves to step outside of it. The magic happens outside this Zone. I teach them how to take baby steps outside of the Zone to slowly expand it.

Episode 4 Torshia
During this episode I get a chance to speak with singer songwriter Torshia. She is a light to behold. I thoroughly enjoyed speaking with her. She had some great insights on the courage of setting boundaries, especially with family members. I personally just love speaking with her and I hope you enjoyed this conversation has well!
Singer songwriter Torshia’s music infuses the funk and soul of the 70s, 90s R&B, and reminiscent harmonies of gospel- creating beautiful melodic music that fills the mind and takes listeners on an enchanting soulful ride.
Born in Atlanta but raise in ,the city of Rhythm and Blue, Memphis, Tennessee - Torshia pulls inspiration from Memphis natives such as the Bar-Kays, Otis Redding, and Ann Peebles. As well as studying the great sweet soulful and funky sounds of Aretha Franklin, The Isley Brothers, Chaka Khan, and Tina Turner. Singing as long as she could talk ,her father would expose her to her love of funk and soul and, her mother in love with gospel and the smooth sound of 90s R&B combined with classical music training in her adolescence years would allow her to merge these worlds to create the magic listeners get to experience today.
