Lisa grew up in central Massachusetts in a small town and had a chicken farm across the street from her house, where she raised chickens as part of 4-H. She went to college in Rhode Island to become an accountant and then worked on Wall Street for several years before burning out. She then moved to Maine, where she started her own business, Fresh Eggs Daily, and became a successful author, entrepreneur, and television host.

Lisa shares tips and tricks for successful backyard chicken keeping and talks about the importance of sustainability and self-sufficiency in today's world.
