We did manage to salvage the intro. from the shoulda-coulda-woulda been episode, so that you can have the visual description of our festive fits. This week, we decided to do as the gentleman (and the occasional women) do, and share the coveted essentials that keep the inflatable raft that is C&D Headquarters afloat. This week we had the absolute privilege of watching Addison Rae's first-ever film debut featuring a Peloton endorsement from the founder of Poosh, Miss Kourtney Kardashian ermmmm Jessica Miles Torres (of no relation to Callie). What a blessing. Don't go changing. Stick around for the Disney channel tape that should've never been, Scooby dooby doo cameos, and poorly placed photography equipment.

We are back with our sixth installment of the Writers' Room! If there's one thing we can't stand in teen television is the absence or complete lack of parental figures. We're all about independence, but somebody's gotta be paying these bills. This week we picked some mamas, papas, meemaws, and peepaws to keep our Vermontonian youth in line. As per usual, we had to incorporate our signature generators to get the creativity train chugging along. We generated names, occupations, education levels, and general relationships. Stay tuned for ritzy backstories, twins overcoming jealousy, and moms making the bread. 

We gave our characters fictional parents. Now, it's time we got some of our own. 

Who wants to be a millionaire? A billionaire? A kajillionaire? This week, we live out our game show dreams and play our own version of "Who Wants to Be a Millionaire?" and figure out who's the fave fan or fake fan. We may not have Regis Philbin hosting, but we do have Reba, who loves her kids and never stops, on our side. This week we’re making a return to our own fictional (Vermont is a real place, we know) universe with our fifth installment of the Writers’ Room. It’s been a while, but we want to give some special attention to the world building of our show. P isn’t just for places; it’s also for Pinterest. You’re getting a little look-see (or listen-hear) at our locked board to get a better idea of the overall ~ vibe ~. We randomly generated some color palettes and design characteristics to set the scene for our even numbered episode. Don’t worry . . . the odds are coming soon. We're back with another round of self-induced torture.

 Netflix said, "Season two of The Society? You can't have it." Spike said, “Season two of The Mist? You can’t have it either.”  We LOVE when our spooky ooky mystery series get cancelled after one season. So many questions unanswered, so many plots unexplored. Guess we'll just have to browse the threads. This week we watched the short-lived adaptation of Stephen King's The Mist via Netflix, and it was a ride . . . through Maine in a military-grade Jeep. Bumpy, but not bad? Stay tuned for a talk on Old Navy costume design, outdated gender roles, and another Monty plot line that we just can't escape.
