On this holiday special episode of Creators Campfire, I was grateful to be joined by 2 creators I massively admire and who I am lucky enough to now call my friends. Tom Buck and Heather Ramirez are a YouTube Power Couple with 3 channels and 3 podcasts between them. Not only this but Heather is also a YouTube coach and Tom a Digital Media Teacher. They have both previously joined me on the show individually, but are now doing their first show together, outside of their own channels. Over the last 5 years, Noah has built up a following of over 153k subscribers on YouTube and he has done this whilst studying, having started his channel at the age of only 15. We talk about how Noah has managed both his channel and school over the years, why he started his channel in the first place and what really made his channel take off. Noah also talks about how strange it can feel to be known and admired by others as a creator and is something that he's still getting used to. You can follow Noah on YouTube. On this week's episode, I was joined by Siri Shortcuts expert, Matthew Cassinelli. Matthew is also a writer, podcaster and YouTuber and previously worked for Workflow before it was bought out by Apple and became Shortcuts. We spoke about Matthew's amazing career so far, how he managed to fit YouTube into it and why he wanted to start his channel. We also talked about the pressures of YouTube, how easy it can be to get caught up in numbers and what others want and the importance of staying true to yourself so you put out the content that you want to create.
