The Crepuscular Light Adjacency

Through an astounding feat of physics, Jezebel catches ornery Perry the Parrot. However, Perry may not be the only one who ends up getting cat-ptured or cat-apulted in this episode of Cat Tastrophe!

In this obvious homage to (or more aptly put complete rip-off of) the immensely popular Christmas film 'Love, Actually' we learn about how in an alternate reality tiny aliens forcing everyone to stay holed up in their homes and only visit the outside world in hazmat suits really brought people closer together, or something. Also in the future, there are swimming cars. Not flying ones.

Reggie, Jezebel and the unnamed witch cat concoct an unnecessary scheme to appease the crowd when the world's largest rat finds herself overcome with insecurity and anxiety about going onstage, using only a little bit of magic and a lot of stage makeup.

The butt faced aliens take Bugtholomew and Leonard through a network of tunnels to a bustling metropolis. However, it is soon learned that the butt faced aliens consider Bughtolomew and Leonard to be butt faced themselves, and also that the butt faced aliens that are indeed butt faced are also surprisingly religious. There may also be time travel.

Doug, a dog in a society of bipedal perpetual suit-wearing dogs, finds his life turned upside down (and not for belly rubs) after a long day of digging for bones ends with a surprise delivery - a vacuum cleaner.

Jezebel, the unnamed witch cat and Reggie decide to go get some food only to immediately take a detour to see what a sign purports to be the 'World's Largest Rat'. All the while, Jezebel and the witch cat argue over who deserves to be called the witch cat, seeing as Jezebel is the one with a witch hat that decidedly makes her appear quite, for lack of a better term, 'witchy'.

Leonard and Bugtholomew are captured by the butt faced aliens. Unfortunately for the butt faced aliens, their standard handcuffs made out of molasses and fondue cheese end up looking delicious to Leonard. Can Leonard eat himself and Bugtholomew out of this mess?

We meet Count Hotdogula's right-hand pooch Russel, a Jack Russel Terrier with a brother named Jack whom everyone mistakes him for. Meanwhile, Reggie rides in a cart with Mr. Dog and Sir Douglas Porkington the 14th, who seems to be having an identity crisis.

Newly named Mayor of the Galaxy Leonard and disloyal cohort Bugtholomew find themselves on the surface of a strange planet with even stranger inhabitants. Will Leonard's first foray into the world of diplomacy pan out, or will he be panned?

Jezebel and Reggie meet with a mystical fortune-telling kitty to learn what their future holds through the telling of vague and nondescript metaphors.

In this last of first chapter episodes comes the Ballad of Bugtholomew, a beetle headed galactic space police officer who takes his new partner Leonard on the ride of his life to defeat evil space seals.

Jezebel, Reggie and Rufus are separated after learning that each of them  has been granted special powers by the board game. Reggie has catlike  reflexes and Jezebel can turn into a cat.
