Mary Wilcox was a 78 year old mother and grandmother who was suffering from heart disease, depression, and Alzheimer’s Disease. She moved in with her daughter, Jeanne, in the rural town of Westford Vermont. On a cold fall day in November 2006, Mary disappeared from this home and was never seen again. It wasn’t until a person came forward over 3 years later that the truth about what may have happened to Mary was brought to light, and her own daughter was arrested for her possible murder. Tracy married Kenneth Cusick, and the two and Tracy's son, became a family. Tracy and Kenneth added a daughter to their family. Years later, Tracy would be found unresponsive with her her head in a toilet bowl after a fight with her husband. Did Kenneth have anything to do with this or did Tracy have too many drinks and drown in the toilet. You decide.

In 1997 it came to light that a corrupt local physician in McCaysville, Georgia had illegal trafficked and sold up to possibly 200 babies to unsuspecting adoptive families, sometimes without the birth parents permission or knowledge. He ran his black market adoption ring out of his practice, The Hicks Community Clinic. The search for the truth in it's full scope is ongoing for these people, many who will never know the circumstances of their births or their past. Amanda Berry heard a noise outside her house in the middle of the night. She went out to investigate and was shot and killed. After refuting his advances numerous times, he broke into her apartment with a master key fob and brutally murdered her and then completed suicide. Christie Sumstad was a vibrant 34 year old mother of 3 living in east Texas. In February of 2011, Christie was found dead in the master bedroom of her and husband, Ryan’s, home. Her death was initially suspected as a suicide based on her husband’s reports that she had been depressed. However, Christie’s family and friends believed that Ryan was involved in her death. Terri and Avra were fast friends when they entered Yale University together in 1975. The two decided to ride the Bike Centennial trail in the summer of 1977, riding from Oregon to Virgina in 82 days. Bernadette Lesage was a 21 year old woman living in Burlington, Vermont. She and a friend went to eat on the lawn of a church one sunny July day in 1980. A disturbed and mentally ill man rushed her and beat her to death with a lead pipe. The 2 were strangers, and what lead this man to commit such a heinous murder left us sad, frustrated, and confused. The two decided to start two companies in 2017 and by all accounts looked as if they were successful at running them. Kyron Horman was a 7 year old attending 2nd grade at Skyline Elementary in Portland, Oregon. In June of 2010, Kyron attended his school’s science fair and seemingly vanished into thin air. Although there is a lot of speculation surrounding Kyron’s step-mother, no one has ever been named a suspect in Kyron’s disappearance and his whereabouts are unknown. Shanti was a motivated and dedicated single mother. She met David on dating app and soon he was moving to Florida to be with Shanti. David bought a beautiful home in the Orlando area, but it needed to be renovated. The renovations went on for years and just may have been too much for this couple to handle. Today, we discuss two smaller cases whose stories, we believe, need to be told. 

Sidnee Stephens was a 15 year old high school student who loved tagging along with her big sister, Dakota. Sadly, in July of 2010, Sidnee was found shot to death in a river under a bridge. The investigation that unfolds leads police to a sinister group of people that conspired to murder. 

Carol Deleon was an 18 year old high school grad that went out on the town to celebrate. She went missing from a club in 1981 and was never seen again. In 2010 a Texas Jane Doe was identified as Carol. But who brutally murdered her so many years before? This is a wild ride through multiple DNA tests and genealogy specialists that finally lead to an answer, 42 years later.
