Critical Tech Podcast

By Digital Harbor Foundation

The Critical Tech podcast grew from a need to educate the public about the inequities caused by the digital divide. When COVID-19 caused schools to close during the spring of 2020, the students of Baltimore City became fully dependent on their access to quality high-speed internet and working computers. However, there was and continues to be a critical problem. As stated by Councilmember Zeke Cohen: "The reality is that [Baltimore is a city] where the internet has been redlined. If you can't get online, you can't learn."
