Meyer, PhD, RN, CRNI®, VA-BC, NE-BC and Stephen Rowley, BSc (Hons) MSc examine current best evidence-based standards and best practice guidelines for preventing infections, including recognition of aseptic technique as a key component in preventing healthcare acquired infection, defining the framework for aseptic non-touch technique (ANTT) and determine how ANTT® principles help reduce contamination and infection and how to integrate updates to the Infusion Nursing Society International ANTT® framework to infection prevention protocols.
