The Story of Sebastián Arcos Bergnes: A Son Describes His Father's Transition from Cuban Revolutionary to Champion of Human Rights
In this first episode of Cuba Archive: Telling the Stories of the Oppressed, Sebastián Arcos Cazabón reveals the tragic story of his father, Sebastián Arcos Bergnes: a story of betrayal and oppression, but also of hope and resistance against the evils of a nefarious regime. From a former Cuban revolutionary to a persecuted political prisoner and human rights activist, Sebastián Arcos Bergnes' story illuminates the horrors perpetrated by the Cuban government, as well as his struggle to expose them.
